Review :
Tom Anderson has a knack for asking questions that cause you to think about the things you think you already know. In his latest book, From Sinnership to Sonship. The Story of Becoming, Tom pushes the boundaries of our beliefs concerning who God is and who He created us to be by asking, "What might change if you saw yourself the way God sees you?" This question prompts a journey through the thread of Scripture which unravels a "sinner saved by grace" mentality and weaves a tapestry of sonship in its place. The end result is a book which possesses the capacity to profoundly impact your understanding of yourself and have you begin to engage life with a different mindset. As always, Tom's writing is marked by a humble certainty and a sanctified imagination by which he seriously (yet playfully) engages Scripture, follows its breadcrumbs and revels in its truth.
