About the Author :
Trisha Fleming is married to a Navy SEAL and mother to three amazing children. Raised in a farming family in the small town of Brawley, California, she cherishes the close-knit bonds of family and friends. She attended undergraduate and graduate school at the University of Southern California ("Fight On!"), obtaining a Master's Degree in Urban Planning. As a military spouse, she has embraced personal growth with each move, working as an urban planner, event planner, and non-profit consultant. Writing Ella Minnow P. began as a creative outlet but was paused due to the unpredictability of military life. Finally seeing the book in print and reading it to her kids is a dream come true! Trisha has guided her children through five relocations and nine schools in nine years and has witnessed firsthand the power of kindness and courage in children. Their ability to embrace new experiences with love and acceptance is something she hopes to inspire in other families. Like Ella, Trisha has taught her kids that it takes both bravery and compassion to navigate any new chapter in life-especially the first day of school. Emanuela Mannello was born and raised in Rome, and now lives in Anguillara Sabazia, a small town on the coast of Bracciano Lake. When she works, she lives in a magical world finding inspiration in music, Disney movies, ancient art, and books.
