About the Book

The secret mansion hidden under DoGoody's doghouse is as magnificent as ever, filled with all kinds of fantastically fun rooms. But where there's fun, there's Fleabins, DoGoody's best friend. Only this time that sneaky, fun-loving, fabulously dressed pest can fly, and when Fleabins flies, it's DoGoody who lands in trouble- from the Happy Nappy Room to the Flower Garden Room and out of the mansion, all the way to the dog park. Get ready for five new stories that prove just how troublesome one flea can be and just how much heart one dog can have.

About the Author :
K. Frances Carson is a children's book author, physician, and, most importantly, the mom to three amazing young adult children. She lives in Los Angeles, in the neighborhood where she grew up, in a house filled with rescue dogs who are as big, silly, and ridiculous as the characters she writes about.

Review :
Sir DoGoody Button and Fleabins the Great...Flying Troublemaker Written by K. Frances Carson Illustrated by Shannon McKeon Publisher: Foo Dee Doo Press, LLC. (October, 2025) ISBN-13: 979-8-9914585-5-9 Pages: 77 Ages: 6-8 What to Expect: Friendship, pets, crushes, problem solving, family. Funny and imaginative, the Sir DoGoody short stories are perfect for readers just transitioning from picture books to chapter books. Sir DoGoody the dog and Fleabins the flea are back for another round of mayhem and mischief! In their latest set of adventures, Sir DoGoody will do his best to impress the lovely lady-dog Dumpling-with some misguided help from Fleabins, as always. DoGoody has many challenges to overcome, from rescuing a baby bird to getting used to new food and, of course, impressing Dumpling with his performance in the costume competition. Fleabins is more interested in eating all the snacks, flying his tricycle, and jumping in puddles, on beds, and off the walls. Yet somehow, things always work out in the end for the two chaotic friends. Sir DoGoody and Fleabins are entertaining characters to follow, as they misunderstand each other and the human world while still being more than they appear on the surface. Parents and educators will appreciate how they remain kind to each other even when they cause problems for one another. Readers are sure to love seeing the ordinary world from the whimsical perspective of a pet, as well as joining in with the daydream every pet-owner has ever had, of the secret life their pet might be living. The black-and-white line drawings bring this doggy fantasy to life, showing DoGoody's secret mansion in glorious detail-as well as Fleabins' antics. Every bit as good as the first book, this second book in the series is a delight to read. -The Children's Book Review
