About the Book

When author Arvey Krise suffered through another painful episode of "Nobody Likes Me" syndrome while attending a lady's function, she went home and made a decision. No more. Either isolate herself -- or do something about it, which she did. Nobody Likes Me is one of the most debilitating feelings in the world, like being kicked in the stomach. After considerable research and putting her nursing background to work, Arvey made a surprising discovery. She wasn't alone. Nobody Likes Me Syndrome is an epidemic, that can be life-changing for both women and men from all walks of life. It was time to take action. To overcome this monster in her head, Arvey gave her critical inner voice a pet name, Nagatha, transitioning it from an intangible to a tangible being she could take on face to face. Nagatha moves into the apartment upstairs. She is the voice in your head that loves to beat you up, telling you lies like nobody Likes me, I don't belong, I'm different from everyone else, and ...they purposely don't return my texts. And she's not going anywhere unless you evict her. Arvey lived with her lies, believing them, for most of her life. In her book, Evicting Nagatha: A JOURNEY FROM SELF-SABOTAGE TO SELF-LOVE, Arvey takes you on her journey of battling Nobody Likes Me Syndrome and WINNING ... and shows you how you too can win. Arvey shares secrets she discovered, like the "Big Reveal" and others, that changed her life overnight, secrets that will flip your selfie from self-sabotage to self-love.

About the Author :
Arvey Krise is a people person who looks a challenge in the eye, like owning a gourmet food factory, and a BBQ restaurant she opened with her chef son Reuben (voted the 4th best in the country, ) and taking on the corporate world where she took on a large struggling sales team and made them number one. Arvey has long been fascinated by the complexity of the mind and the effect our past has on our happiness when life happens. Including her own. During her nursing days, Arvey gravitated towards mental health, volunteering with a local mental health association which brought her face-to-face with the power of the mind. The correlation she discovered between childhood experiences and adult happiness moved mountains in her own life, and she strives to do the same for others through her writing.

Review :
"It's hard to be your best self when you keep getting in your own way. In Evicting Nagatha: A Journey from Self-Sabotage to Self -Love, the author does a beautiful job of helping us recognize that we cannot control others, we can only control ourselves. It will remind you of that hard teacher that no one wanted. Yet, when you got him you realized he was hard but because he was hard he made you better. He spoke the truth but loved you all the while doing it. That is what happens in Nagatha, you find that being truthful to yourself makes you better, all the while loving yourself through it. The first step in getting out of your own way is evicting Nagatha. This beautifully written memoir will tell you how." -Nikki Stauffer Healthcare Professional Nashville, TN "I am grateful to have read Evicting Nagatha: A Journey from Self-Sabotage to Self-Love, an identifiable Critical Par- ent Chokehold! It's a relief to see a step-by-step process designed for anyone to easily follow in an effort to expel this abusive voice once and for all!" -Cathy Resler Hypnotherapist Master Mental Health Counseling, Springfield College, Boston, MA "I know Arvey personally and professionally, and she's without a doubt the most upbeat and motivational person to ever cross my path. If anyone can show us the way for- ward, it's her. Here's to letting Arvey set the stage so you can 'Flip Your Selfie' and 'Evict your Nagatha' once and for all. You'll be ever so glad you did!" -Carol Felzien Vice President & CMO Majestic Consulting Company "I can think of dozens of women (and men) who regularly deal with these issues and will benefit greatly from this book. With the constant pressure from media and advertising to be perfect, drop-dead gorgeous, and always telling us how we can improve ourselves to be like the rich and famous, our true source of beauty and self-love is sabotaged. Finally, a book that offers an alternative pathway to happiness, away from the vicious pursuit of 'perfection'! Turns out - it's okay to be yourself. This incredible no holes barred book shows you how through real-life experiences and just the right touch of humor straight from Arvey's personal life." -Angelyn Garcia, B.A Journalism Emphasis Certified Bible Health Counselor Natural Health Counselor Certified ProLiteracy Trainer "Reading Evicting Nagatha: A Journey from Self-Sabotage to Self-Love has been truly enlightening and life-changing. This is a great resource on how to take a step back from the pressure of society and reclaim our true beauty and self-worth. Arvey's ability to combine her personal experience with humor makes this book incredibly easy to relate to. I highly recommend it to everyone who struggles with self-sabotage and has been struggling to make the switch to self-love" -Laura Wilkinson Professional Editor and Proofreader "This book will make the perfect gift!"
