They want her soul, but it belongs to him.
Letting ghosts pass through me to the other side isn't what you'd expect from a nun, but neither is being an exorcist. The church is all I've ever known, and I accepted my fate long ago.
Until I met him.
He's walking blood, unapologetic murder, and lust-the poster child for possession. I should be disgusted, but when I'm near him, I feel like I'm on fire.
At first, I tell myself it's part of the curse, part of the possession. But when secrets begin coming to light, I realize the people who raised me lied to me my entire life. What part of me will win the battle between my heart and mind: the woman or the exorcist?

I received an arc and this is my honest opinion!
It is released 28th July on Amazon.
When I say this book is refreshing, I really do mean it. When I saw it was about a nun, I was sat here like , a nun With a triple moon and a triquetra on the cover... Are you mad?
But honestly, this book has had me hook, line and sinker. I really didn't want to put it down and my God I can't wait for the second one. Twists I didn't see coming, a mixture of Greek and Egyptian lore that has been interwoven so well. It's amazingly written, explanations exactly where you need it and characters you just love.
Eliza is the FMC and as a whole I really liked her. Her development throughout the book kept my attention!
Luk is the MMC and his story is so interesting, I'm fascinated to see how he's going to develop. His modern day struggles genuinely had me laughing at points.
I absolutely love Olivia. Just, yes. Absolutely yes to the sneaky snek.
There's also some characters I'd absolutely love to punch, they really did get on my wick. But it's absolutely done on purpose. I'm looking at you, Father Paul. We're not even going to get into the others, that's stuff people need to read about themselves.
"I'm a supernatural being, Eliza. We were never wrapped in the same constraints of mortal ethics. I want you. And I will have you. I knew it before and only stronger now. But I want you to understand me. I want you to understand this world. Because understanding will make you safe. And I need you safe."
You know, he's not even grey but the obsession/devotion is everything.
I'm not even doing this book justice right now, just add it to your tbr. ✨
