About the Book

Back off, Ice King! These princesses are out to chew bubblegum and kick butt—and they’re all out of bubblegum . . . Whether it’s defeating Magic Man at Princess High Tea (back off with your dumb irony and words and junk, Magic Man!), celebrating birthdays in the FIRST PERSON (ooooo), discovering the whereabouts of Lumpy Space Princess’s missing star (y’all better have flippin’ good alibis, OK?), crowning the Best Princess Ever (who will take home the coveted Betamax 3000 Tiara Buffer?!), or overseeing a phantasmagoric* (*phantasmagoric: dreamy, weird, changing, shifting) hot air balloon race, these princess-focused adventures pack a most mathematical punch! Princess Bubblegum, LSP, Turtle Princess, Muscle Princess, Hot Dog Princess—the list goes on! All these princesses and more grace the pages of this specially curated Adventure Time collection, featuring issues #15, 20, 35, and 62–69 of the original comics run with stories written by Ryan North (The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl), Mariko Tamaki (Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up with Me), and Delilah S. Dawson (Star Wars: Phasma), and drawn by Shelli Paroline & Braden Lamb (Midas) and Ian McGinty (Bee and PuppyCat)!

About the Author :
Ryan North's recent work includes the nonfiction books How To Take Over The World and How To Invent Everything, the semi-fictional graphic novel adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse-Five, and the so-far-fictional Unbeatable Squirrel Girl series for Marvel. He's a multiple New York Times bestseller whose work has been translated into 16 different languages to date, and as a linguist, he's very happy about that. He lives in Toronto, where he once messed up walking his dog so badly it made the news.

Mariko Tamaki is a New York Times-bestselling Canadian writer of comics and prose. She is the co-creator of This One Summer, with Jillian Tamaki, and Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me, with Rosemary Valero-O'Connell, both of which received Eisner Awards and Printz Honors. Delilah S. Dawson is the New York Times best-selling author of Star Wars: Phasma and the writer of the Blud series, the Hit series, Servants of the Storm, and the Shadow series, starting with Wake of Vultures and written as Lila Bowen, not to mention numerous short stories. With Kevin Hearne, she co-writes the Tales of Pell beginning with Kill the Farm Boy. She writes the creator-owned comics Sparrowhawk and Ladycastle and has written comics in the worlds of Adventure Time, Labyrinth, The X-Files Case Files, Star Wars Adventures, and Star Wars Forces of Destiny. She has won three RT Awards and has received stars from Publishers Weekly, Kirkus, Booklist, VOYA, and Library Journal. She lives in Florida with her family and is always online at whimsydark.com.
