About the Book

The Kind Boy Saves the Dragon: A Kind Boy Adventure About the Power of Good Deeds is a heartwarming adaptation of Androcles and the Lion, showing how generosity and compassion create lasting change. This beautifully illustrated tale follows a young king who gives away his wealth to help the poor, only to be banished by greedy advisors. Traveling the world, he continues to offer kindness-even to a wounded dragon. Years later, captured and thrown into a deadly contest, his past kindness saves him: the same dragon he once helped rescues him and restores him to his throne. Under his new laws of kindness and generosity, the kingdom flourishes. This inspiring story supports early literacy and social-emotional learning, making it an excellent choice for classrooms and libraries. Key benefits include: Teaches Kindness & Generosity - Shows how selfless acts lead to lasting rewards. Encourages Emotional Intelligence & Perspective-Taking - Highlights the value of helping others and seeing the good in people. Supports Visual Literacy & Inclusive Learning - Whimsical illustrations provide cues for non-readers and visual learners. Classic Storytelling with Modern Relevance - Reinforces the timeless truth that kindness transforms communities. Part of the Adventures of a Kind Boy series, The Kind Boy Saves the Dragon features a hero whose kindness and generosity help him triumph over dragons, giants, fairies, and witches. These stories inspire children ages 3-8 to grow from listeners to readers. Additional resources-read-along videos, discussion guides, and activity pages-are available on www.visualizeresultstores.com. The Kind Boy Saves the Dragon is a must-have for educators and librarians seeking stories that promote kindness, empathy, and leadership in young readers. About the Author :
Janice Lawrence is a storyteller, illustrator, and mom of amazing kids who learned differently. I spent decades designing learning curriculum and educational programs for large organizations, like Apple, the Children's Television Workshop, The Procter & Gamble Company and many more. But her biggest challenge was helping her kids with autism, dyslexia, and ADD to learn how to read. This experience taught her how powerful visual storytelling can be. Now she creates richly illustrated fairy tales that help young children grow emotionally and learn to love reading-especially those who learn differently.
