Review :
"Fun, inspiring, and throughly 'kid friendly'...unreservedly recommended." --Midwest Book Review
"Happy Easter, Risen King! by Laura Sassi is the kind of board book that instantly brightens the room, bursting with sunshine through its vivid illustrations and lively, rhyming text. From the very first spread, it pulls children (and the grown-ups reading along) straight into the wonder of Easter. This is a story that doesn't tiptoe around the Resurrection--it shares the joy of the Resurrection in a way kids can truly feel." --Cindy Lynn Sawyer, children's author, speaker, and brand storyteller, "Step into Story" blog
"My favorite part was the illustrations which are welcoming, warm, and energetic. At the end is a rainbow with Jesus standing in front of it. It reminds me of all the joy of a birthday celebration, with a scene resembling practically a party of people from all around the world.... I can certainly imagine it fitting in so perfectly with a brightly decorated Easter basket for a little one!" --CatholicMom.com
"I love when children's books have layers of meaning and discovery. In the board book, Happy Easter, Risen King!, little ones are engaged in the beautiful story of Easter with lovely pictures, rhythm, and rhyme. Plus, children can point to and name the wonderful colors God made as they are highlighted throughout. Such a vibrant way to celebrate Jesus's resurrection!" --Valerie Ellis, author of Wild Faith
