Buddha’s Wisdom: Xuemo Interprets the Diamond Sutra is Xuemo’s comprehensive commentary on the
thirty-two chapters of the Diamond Sutra, making it the most complete
commentary on the Diamond Sutra in history. Drawing on over forty years
of mind training, the author spent five years reinterpreting Kumarajiva’s
ancient Chinese translation from 1,600 years ago, using long verses and modern
Chinese explanations to make the Buddha’s teachings more accessible to
contemporary readers.
This book not only clarifies the historical background of the
Prajnaparamita scriptures’ transmission to China but also conveys Buddha’s true
intent when delivering these teachings, infused with Xuemo’s own spiritual
realization. Its audiobook version has garnered over 31.29 million plays on
Ximalaya, making it Xuemo’s most popular cultural work.
