About the Book

A baby in a basket.

A prince in a palace.

A hero chosen by God.

Step into one of the greatest adventures ever told -- the story of Moses.

From the moment he is set adrift among the reeds of the Nile to the day he stands before powerful Pharaoh, Moses's life is charged with danger, wonder, and God's guiding hand. Here, children can journey alongside him as he discovers God's true purpose for his life and as he learns to trust even when he feels afraid.

With vivid storytelling and breathtaking illustrations by beloved artist Brian Wildsmith, this beautifully retold classic brings the story of Exodus to life as never before.

Young readers will encounter the mystery of the burning bush, the drama of the plagues that shook Egypt, and the awe-inspiring crossing of the Red Sea. Along the way, they will meet Moses's companions, including his brother Aaron, young Joshua, and even a loyal dog that shares in the adventure.

Told with warmth, color, and excitement, this book helps children see how God calls ordinary people to do extraordinary things.

Moses invites them into a story of courage, obedience, and trust -- and shows that even when we feel small or unsure, God is always at work.
