About the Book

After an earth-shattering first year of college in the Adirondacks, Lily and her enigmatic boyfriend Kai settle into a normal life, and Lily starts her second year as a collegiate soccer player with a great group of friends. But she is soon faced with a new challenge as a local girl named Kasa sets her sights on Kai. To make matters worse, Lily finds herself under observation by a series of ominous crows. Then Wanda, the owner of the Salty Swan, receives an unexpected visitor. Naomi is the wicked Rosella's older sister, and she brings a warning of an even greater evil: Vadoma, their oldest sibling, who is searching for Rosella. Vadoma is ruthless and feels entitled to Rosella's wealth and power. Faced with another dangerous situation, Lily again turns to the mystical creatures of the forest for guidance and must find the courage and strength to navigate the turmoil.

Review :
"Katrina Mackrides's The Crows Know is a lesson in listening to the signs flying all around, following your instincts, and not always jumping to conclusions. This book was at times shocking yet romantic and playful. A great second book in a unique series." -Miranda Faye Dillon, award-winning author of The Unshatterables "The Crows Know is a heartfelt continuation of Lily and Kai's story-blending romance, magic, and danger into a tale that feels both intimate and epic. Katrina Mackrides has created a world where love and friendship truly shine against the darkness." -Jake Stehnam, author, young adult novels "A phenomenal sequel that intertwines romance and intrigue with the strength of a powerful female voice. Mackrides takes us on another amazing ride."-Neha Hewitt, author of Cascadia's Call "Mackrides delivers another captivating installment in this imaginative and beautifully written sequel. Her prose brings both characters and settings vividly to life, drawing readers deeper into the mystery. I eagerly await what lies ahead for Lily and Kai as their story continues to unfold in the final book." -Natacha Belair, award-winning author of A Stellar Purpose trilogy "In The Crows Know, Katrina Mackrides delivers a powerful and captivating continuation of Lily and Kai's story. This sequel to The Salty Swan doesn't simply pick up where the first book left off-it raises the stakes, expands the mythology, and tests the very heart of its characters. Mackrides weaves together romance, folklore, and suspense with a deft hand. The crows become striking symbols of both warning and guidance, embodying the tension between light and darkness that runs throughout the novel. The natural world is described with vivid detail, grounding the supernatural elements in a setting that feels at once enchanting and real. It is a beautifully balanced novel-equal parts suspense, romance, and myth-that stays with you long after the final page." - Sakthika Vijay, author of Jasmine Flowers and Pounds of Sugar and Outcast "Katrina Mackrides does it again with her second book, The Crows Know. It is a beautifully written sequel to her first book, The Salty Swan. This book of romance, folklore, and mystic powers brings the characters to life in this page turner. Get ready for the undying love story of Kai and Lily and the perils they encounter against evil. The strength of their love continues to enthrall its readers in a way that makes you want more, more, and more." -Kathleen Hutchens, reader "Katrina Mackrides creates another phenomenal read with The Crows Know, the second book in The Salty Swan saga! She has created a world with amazing characters. While reading, I felt as though I was reconnecting with old friends, facing each struggle with them. Kai and Lily have such a magical connection. I found myself holding my breath each time I thought I knew what was going to happen, but Mackrides surprised me with each twist and turn in their story. The ending had me on edge, and now I can't wait for the next book!" -Kelly Keevins, author of The Cavern "In book two of the series, The Crows Know, Katrina Mackrides weaves a mystical tale where budding romance and friendship are matched against jealousy and darkness that will keep you wanting more." -Michael Swartz, author of SPLIT "A stunning, mystical sequel that delves deeper into the shadows.
