About the Book

Look up. A tsunami is coming.

Artificial intelligence is not a ripple-it's a tidal wave.

Powerful. Disruptive. Transformational.

It will reshape nations, cultures, careers, and daily life-and most people are unprepared.

The AI Tsunami: A Survival Guide for Humanity is a clear, accessible roadmap for navigating the greatest technological upheaval in human history. Discover the astonishing benefits of AI, the hidden dangers, and what the future may hold for individuals, businesses, and society.

But there is a darker undercurrent.

In 2023, an MIT-sponsored open letter signed by tens of thousands of AI experts warned of profound risks-including existential threats. This book explores both the utopian promise and the dystopian possibilities, separating hype from reality.

Knowledge is power-and survival favors the prepared.

Whether you're a business owner, professional, student, or creator, The AI Tsunami explains the technology in plain language, with real-world examples and practical strategies to adapt, reskill, and thrive.

Inside, you'll find actionable guidance, tools, and resources to help you ride the wave instead of being swept away.

The tsunami is rising. Will you be ready?

About the Author :
Guy Morris is a retired Fortune 500 executive with a four-decade career spanning software, high-tech, and global energy, including leadership roles with IBM, Burroughs, Occidental Petroleum, Oracle, and Microsoft. Known as an innovator and strategic thinker, he has led initiatives in finance, business strategy, enterprise quality, PMO, consulting, sales, and new market development-translating emerging technology into real-world business impact. With academic training in economics and finance and a minor in computer science, Guy earned a full-scholarship MBA at the University of Arizona. Early in his career, he gained international recognition for developing a macroeconomic model that outperformed Federal Reserve forecasts and influenced modern economic modeling approaches. The model relied on early algorithmic pattern-recognition techniques that anticipated the principles behind today's artificial intelligence systems, placing him at the intersection of economics and machine intelligence long before AI became mainstream.Throughout his career, Guy helped global enterprises evaluate, implement, and scale breakthrough technologies to create competitive advantage and transform operations. His work with emerging systems often paralleled key milestones in the evolution of machine intelligence.Beyond the corporate world, Guy's life has been unusually diverse: a published songwriter with Disney Records, Coast Guard charter captain, diver, adventurer, entrepreneur, inventor, and award-winning thriller author. His experiences range from cartel death threats in Latin America to shark diving in Moorea, from boardroom negotiations to recording studios, and from childhood homelessness to global business leadership. He brings this breadth of experience to his writing, combining realism, technical insight, and human drama to explore the profound challenges and opportunities facing humanity in the age of artificial intelligence.
