About the Book

FRIENDS COME AND GO; ENEMIES ACCUMULATE - Volume II THE CHIEF - In this story the protagonist lives in a world of his own completely ignorant of right and wrong. Everything is rationalized to make sense in his set of beliefs which are ephemeral and changeable to suit him.THE BISHOP - This is a tale which demonstrates that there is nothing worse to befall someone than a woman scorned. The point of the story fails to register with the protagonist of the story who classifies every woman based on his failed relationship and vows instead on all future relationships to get even.THE TUNNEL RAT - This is a story that there are no good guys. Everyone is out for himself both government and defendant.BABALUI AND HIS DOG - This is a tale of an innocent man caught in the gears of justice because of the unconventional life style he was living and the type of friends he was hanging around with. He was living a life on the inside that mirrored the one on the outside.DEAD HEAT ON A MERRY-GOROUND - The main chapter in this tale is a truly frightening man and so are his friends on the outside. He wand still is living in an incubator for domestic terrorists.PERFECTO FROM THE BIG EASY - This fiction goes to tell you not to believe everything you hear from a prisoner. Almost everyone builds an alter image of what they wanted to be in life and you to hear, which may be a fabrication based on facts.THE BIG DOG - This is a story of desperation brought about by events beyond the protagonist's control. The transfer of responsibility to others for survival and manifestation of bad habits exasperated by the environment.THE HOMEBOY'S COUSIN - This fiction is a prime example of the need being the mother of invention.THE CHEMISTRY MAJOR - This fiction demonstrates how a relatively innocent person may be led astray by the need for immediate gratification.THE ROBIN' CHRISTIAN - In this story society and circumstances shape the life of the protagonist and lead him to a life of crime.LA BELLA ITALIA - For some the way of life is dictated my birth and heritage. The environment that they grow up in takes care of the rest. It takes a very strong person to swim against the current. It is much easier and convenient to simply go with the flow.THE LONE STAR MORON - Some of the guards were described as prisoners with a badge. They were free to go home at the end of the day, but they had to show up the next day and the next. The prisoners on the other hand they were free to go and never come back when their sentence was up or they won their case in some court.THE COSTA RICA FUGITIVE - An unusual story of the protagonist being incarcerated for a most common misstep, income tax evasion.THE TIJUANA MULE - In this story the protagonist decided to change from being a criminal to a law abiding citizen. However, the government wanted him to go back being a criminal so they have reason to arrest him.JOHNNY THE COP - This is a story of a prisoner who was not of sound mind to even go to trial. Divine intervention however, created circumstances where the government was forced to set him free and pay him a fine on top, which set the prisoner for life.Kindly go to the Introduction section of the book for a complete description.
