As the new day dawns, we awake to the first moments of our day. How we begin sets in motion our beliefs and visions for what comes our way. True transformation brings with it a new sense of our life in numerous ways. We begin to move from a vague sense of hopefulness to a regular embodiment of a sense of wholeness that offers a place within to live into a new reality that begins from within not without.
As the world tries to convince us that it's just "the way it is", so don't bother changing anything, we find that in true transformation, "the way it is" has a lot more to do with our state within and the beliefs that make that state within knowable, than a belief system focused on external observations.
James Patrick Holden lives in Punta Gorda Florida where he enjoys family time around the fire with his wife and children. There, a 20-year history as a family systems therapist and pastor keeps their non-profit sense one inc, involved in the needs of the housing crisis in Florida by helping all he can to keep a roof over people's heads through the efforts of Holden roofing LLC.

Review :
From Wishful Thinking To True Transformation by James Partick Holden c2004
James Patrick Holden has written a book entitled: From Wishful Thinking to True Transformation.
One of the meditations centers around a belief that "joy is a natural state." How adamantly some may argue against this, or despair of ever finding it, but Holden offers hope, a balm, and a belief that there is an anchor to hold onto.
These meditations are soulful and soothing, obviously formed in the author from a life centered on daily devotion, prayer, and contemplation.
This is a useful book, a calming presence of a book in such stressful times as these.
Please read it.
