About the Book

Sometimes it's tough being different. In a world full of billions of clovers, all Grover wants is to be normal and to not stand out in the crowd. But he has a BIG problem, one that he can't seem to hide or get rid of no matter how hard he tries. Embarking on a whirlwind summer vacation around the world, each of Grover's relatives presents their own hilarious idea to help: some strange, some exhausting, and some smelly! But nothing works. Maybe what Grover needs is actually back where he started, a friend who can help him embrace what makes him unique. If he can find that, he might realize just how lucky he is after all. Grover the Clover is a heartwarming story that explores the beauty of accepting what makes each of us unique. Filled with humor, delightful illustrations, and valuable insights about affirmation and friendship, journey with Grover on an adventure that will inspire young and old readers alike to embrace the fourth-leaves in all of us.

About the Author :
A father of four, Tim is a story enthusiast, creating and exploring new worlds and adventures with his family through bedtime books, endless art projects, and the occasional couch cushion fort. In addition to his creative endeavors around the home, Tim is always knocking around additional writing project ideas and he publishes the occasional haiku on the ups and downs of parenting under the "X" handle @ParentingHaiku. When he's not writing, reading, or parenting, Tim manages municipal design and construction projects in Southern California. Grover the Clover is his first children's book.

Review :
"I loved this world of clovers in Grover the Clover by Tim Callahan... Children will experience Grover's feelings and his thought processes in ways that they readily connect with and that will help them effect a change in their own self-perspective if they, too, are self-conscious about any differences... Thank you, Tim Callahan, for such a beautiful story for children who are concerned about being different. I encourage parents to share this uplifting story with their children." -- Kathy Golden for Readers' Favorite
