About the Book

#"Conglomeration" is Pat Morrell-Donnelly's thirteenth (13th) book to publish. Her nephew, Bob, calls it her "Baker's Dozen." *"Conglomeration" contains poems, stories and articles on numerous subjects. Pat wrote most of the poems found in this 13th book, in the nineteen-eighties and nineteen-nineties, when she was living through some difficult and trying times. This comes through in her poetry. The poems speak about life and the overcoming of challenges, about trials and losses and the faith that saw her through. A few of the titles of Pat's poems in her book are, "A Survivor," "Bloom," Dare To Be Different," Don't Take For granted," "Harvest," "In His Palm," "Keep Trying," "Mistakes," "Our Own Mansion," "Potential," "Surviving" and "Your Legacy." Some of the articles are "444 Days To Freedom," "About Mother Earth," "How To Find Inspiration In Daily Living," "Next Door," "My Sister, Sondra," and "Ya'll Live In California?" Pat began writing poems around age forty-five. These poems are an accumulation of her experience's of over ninety-six years of living. Pat has written over 2,200 poems. Pat writes "Personalized Poems" about people's lives. She has received responses from four presidents, two first-ladies, and the Queen of England, plus others. Pat has met, and written poems about a Governor, a U. S. Senator, four U. S. Congressmen, and two Georgia Representatives. Pat also writes religious, political, motivational and inspirational type poems. Pat published her first book "The Climb Up Life's Mountain" in 2009 at age eighty. Pat's thirteen books are: "The Climb Up Life's Mountain" "Poems For Conservatives" "My Journey As A Realtor" "Honoring" "Poetry Breathes Life Into Bible Characters" "Poems and Stories About Cats and Dogs and Various Critters" "The Best For Last" "Poems For Conservatives Volume 2" "All About Love" "Holiday Celebrations and Much More" "Life Lived In Poetry" "Poverty's Child in Rhyme" "Conglomeration" Pat hopes, with her poetry, she can make a difference in the lives of her readers. Pat has found the adversities and problems she has faced, and known, do not last forever. With faith, things can change, and tomorrow life will be brighter.
