About the Book

In 12th Century Avelino, Italy, a father's grief leads to dark secrets at St. Michael's Cathedral. As Michael grows, he uncovers a legacy of tragedy and demonic forces that captivate archaeologists and demonologists for centuries, revealing a haunting tale of possession.

The Sexton delves into the life of Anthony Corelli, a devoted sexton at the cathedral, who faces unimaginable sorrow when his beloved wife, Elizabeth, succumbs to illness. Left alone to raise their son, Michael, Anthony's world becomes a blend of faith and despair. As Michael matures, he feels the weight of his father's legacy and the haunting shadows of their past. The cathedral, a place of worship, transforms into a site of dark mysteries, where whispers of the supernatural linger in the air.

As Michael embarks on his journey to follow in his father's footsteps, he stumbles upon chilling secrets hidden within the cathedral's ancient walls. The tragic events that unfold not only test his faith but also awaken dormant forces that have been waiting for centuries. The story intertwines the lives of the Corelli family with the relentless pursuit of archaeologists and demonologists, drawn to the cathedral by the legends of possession and despair.

Through Michael's eyes, readers experience a gripping narrative filled with suspense and intrigue. The exploration of grief, legacy, and the supernatural creates a rich tapestry that captivates the imagination. As the past collides with the present, the boundaries between reality and the supernatural blur, leading to a climactic revelation that will leave readers questioning the nature of good and evil. The Sexton is a haunting tale that explores the depths of human emotion and the dark forces that lie beneath the surface of faith.
