About the Author :
R.I. Minu , a distinguished scholar and ACMW Chair in computer science and engineering, has forged an impressive path in academia, marked by unwavering passion for knowledge and innovation. Graduating with a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Bharathidasan University in 2004, Dr. Minu quickly demonstrated promise in the field. She continued her academic journey, earning an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering and later a Ph.D. from Anna University in 2007 and 2015, respectively. Her commitment to advancing knowledge led her to a Post Doc in Quantum Deep Learning Algorithm for Image Recognition at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, USA, in 2022 and 2023. Currently serving as a Faculty Member at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Computing, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, India, Dr. Minu is a prominent figure in academia. Her research interests span a spectrum of cutting-edge technologies, including Computer Vision, Machine Vision, IoT, 5G, Edge/Fog Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Semantic Web. Dr. Minu's scholarly impact is evident in her extensive publication record, featuring over 40 research papers in esteemed peer-reviewed journals and three comprehensive books. Beyond her publications, she actively explores and advances emerging technologies such as IoT, Edge/Fog Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Blockchain, Digital Twin, and 5G. As ACMW Chair, Dr. R.I. Minu continues to inspire and lead in the academic and professional realms, contributing significantly to the growth and evolution of computer science and engineering. G. Nagarajan , a distinguished academician and IEEE Member, boasts a formidable background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Applied Electronics, and Computer Science and Engineering. His academic journey began with a B.E. degree from MS University, followed by M.E. degrees in Applied Electronics from Anna University and Computer Science and Engineering from Sathyabama University. Dr. Nagarajan's quest for knowledge culminated in a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Sathyabama University in 2015. His dedication to advancing research led him to pursue a Post Doc in Quantum-Inspired Blockchain-Based Trust Management System for Medical IoT Devices at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, USA, in 2022 and 2023. Presently serving as a Faculty Member at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Computing, Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai, India, Dr. Nagarajan is known for his unwavering commitment to education and research. His research interests span an array of cutting-edge domains, including Computer Vision, IoT, 5G, Edge/Fog Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Wireless Sensor Networks. Dr. Nagarajan's scholarly impact is evident through his prolific publication record, featuring over 120 research papers in prestigious peer-reviewed journals such as IEEE, ACM, Springer-Verlag, Inderscience, and Elsevier. Additionally, he has authored 20 book chapters and has authored and edited three comprehensive books, solidifying his position as a thought leader in emerging technologies. His current endeavors focus on exploring and advancing emerging technologies such as IoT, Edge/Fog Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Blockchain, Digital Twin, and 5G. Dr. Nagarajan's dedication to research excellence and his significant contributions to the academic community underscore his prominence in the field of computer science and engineering. Prof. Martin Margala , PhD joined the School of Computing and Informatics as Professor and Director in August 2021. Before joining UL Lafayette, from September 2011 to July 2021, Dr. Margala was Professor and Chair of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Co-Director of the Center for Smart Cyber-Physical Systems (SCyPS). He received his PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta, Canada (#61 in Global Ranking in North America region; #13 in Global subject specific ranking Electrical and Electronic Engineering in North America region USNews) in the spring of 1998. He is a senior member of ACM, IEEE, and SPIE with more than 50 journal and 200 peer reviewed conference publications in the areas of Design for Testability for Energy Efficient Architectures and Systems, High-Performance Reliable Low-Power Architectures and Reconfigurable Secure Architectures and Systems. Dr. Margala has directed 22 PhD students and 19 MS students, many of whom now hold leading positions in academia and industry. He has served on numerous program committees of international conferences and on workgroups (such as the International Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors) that have a great impact on the future direction of academia and industry. Siva Shankar S is a highly accomplished individual with a multifaceted career in academia. Born and raised in India, Dr. Siva Shankar S has pursued a rigorous educational journey, earning a Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech.), followed by a Master's degree (M.Tech.) and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in his field of expertise. With a passion for advancing knowledge and pushing the boundaries of technology, Dr. Siva Shankar S has dedicated himself to the field of Computer Science and Engineering. His academic achievements have been recognized by prestigious institutions, and his contributions to research have earned him accolades, including being listed in the India Book of Records. As an educator, Dr. Siva Shankar S has served as an Associate Professor at KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology in Telangana, India. In addition to teaching, he has taken on leadership roles within the department, serving as the Dean of Foreign Affairs. In this capacity, he has played a vital role in fostering international collaborations and promoting cross-cultural exchange within the academic community. E.Logashanmugam graduated from Madurai Kamaraj University in 1991 with Electronics and Communication Engineering as his major and subsequently acquired his Post Graduation in the same field from Madras Institute of Technology; Anna University .He had done his research in Video Signal Processing domain and received his Doctoral Degree from Sathyabama University. Having great aptitude and passion for teaching, he started his humble beginning and career at Sathyabama in 1995 as a Lecturer and has been growing professionally along with the Institution over these twenty-five years in various Academic and Administration Capacities such as Professor, Faculty Head, Dean and Administration Director. As a Dynamic Researcher, Academician and scholar, Dr.E.Logashanmugam is deeply associated with many Research Organisations such as IGCAR, BRFST, and BRNS etc. He plays an imperative and pivotal role as Principle Investigator and as such attracted a number of research projects from many scientific funding agencies of Government of India to this forerunning premier Institution and to his credit also. He had been the nodal officer in developing a Centre for Advance Electronic Testing in association with QMax Technologies, Chennai and trained more than four hundred students belonging to circuit branches which turned out to be instrumental for their Placements. In recognition of his merits and achievements Dr.E.Logashanmugam has been honoured and conferred with various awards and rewards such as Best Faculty Award from SATHYABAMA and Best Mentor award from Cognizant Technology Solutions. He has chaired many number of technical sessions in Conferences and successfully conducted a large number of short-term courses for students, Faculty Development Programs in Embedded Systems, Speech, Signal and Image Processing. He has contributed a lot in the fields of Video signal Processing, Image Processing, Intelligent Computing, Magnetic Bearing and control, Smart Antenna, DMD based Single Pixel camera coupled with more than 110 publications in reputed research journals and presentations in Conference Proceedings. Dr.E.Logashanmugam is a Life Member of various professional Chapters. He has a solid track record of mentoring more than 100 Graduate students over the Years. He has produced six Doctorates and at present supervising five Ph.D scholars. The Students mentored by him are now well placed in various reputed National and International organisations and research Institutions. He is currently working on the editorial boards appointed for reviewing peer journals in the field of Embedded System, Image Processing and Micro Electronic devices.
