About the Author :
Dr. Altaf O. Mulani is a Professor and Head of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at SKN Sinhgad College of Engineering, Pandharpur, India. With over 22 years of experience, he has significantly contributed to teaching, curriculum development, academic administration, and research leadership. He has served in key institutional roles including IQAC Coordinator, PG Coordinator, and Examination Coordinator. He is actively associated with reputed international publishers as Guest Editor, Editor and Reviewer for SCI/SCIE and Scopus-indexed journals. His research interests span VLSI, embedded systems, image processing etc. He has published more than 100 research articles, holds 5 UK patents and 2 Indian patent and has successfully organized international conferences with Scopus-indexed proceedings. He received funded research grants from national agencies and continues to mentor research scholars and UG/PG projects, contributing to innovation-driven engineering education. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Korhan Cengiz was born in Edirne, Turkey, in 1986. He received the BSc degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kocaeli University and Business Administration from Anadolu University, Turkey in 2008 and 2009 respectively. He took his MSc degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Namik Kemal University, Turkey in 2011, and the PhD degree in Electronics Engineering from Kadir Has University, Turkey in 2016. Since March 2023, He has been a Senior Researcher in the department of Information Technologies, University of Hradec Kralove, Kralove, Czech Republic. Since September 2022, He has been an Associate Professor in the department of Computer Engineering, Istinye University, Istanbul, Turkey. Since April 2022, he has been the chair of the research committee of University of Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. Since August 2021, he has been an Assistant Professor at the College of Information Technology in University of Fujairah, UAE. Dr. Cengiz is the author of more than 40 SCI / SCI-E articles including IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Access, Expert Systems with Applications, Knowledge Based Systems and ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks, 5 international patents, more than 10 book chapters, and 1 book in Turkish. He is editor of more than 20 books. His research interests include wireless sensor networks, wireless communications, statistical signal processing, indoor positioning systems, internet of things, power electronics and 5G. He is the Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Potentials Magazine, Handling Editor of Microprocessors and Microsystems, Elsevier, Associate Editor of IET Electronics Letters, and IET Networks. He serves several reviewer positions for IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Sensors Journal and IEEE Access. He serves several book editor positions in IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, Wiley and CRC. He presented 40+ keynote talks in reputed IEEE and Springer Conferences about WSNs, IoT and 5G. He is Senior Member, IEEE and Professional Member of ACM. Dr. Cengiz’ s awards and honors include the Tubitak Priority Areas PhD Scholarship, the Kadir Has University PhD Student Scholarship, best presentation award in ICAT 2016 Conference and best paper award in ICAT 2018 Conference. Dr Suman Lata Tripathi is working as Professor in Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune with more than 23 years of experience in academics and research. She has completed her Ph.D. in the area of microelectronics and VLSI Design from MNNIT, Allahabad. She did her MTech in Electronics Engineering from UP Technical University, Lucknow and BTech in Electrical Engineering from Purvanchal University, Jaunpur. She is also a remote post-doc researcher at Nottingham Trent University, London, UK in the year 2022. She has published more than 225 research papers in refereed Springer, Elsevier, IEEE, Wiley and IOP science journals, conference proceeding and e-books. She has also published 13 Indian patents and 4 copyright. She has guided 8 PhD scholar and 4 are under submission stage. She has organized several workshops, summer internships, and expert lectures for students. She has worked as a session chair, conference steering committee member, editorial board member, and peer reviewer in international/national IEEE, Springer, Wiley etc Journal and conferences. She has received the “Research Excellence Award” in 2019 and “Research Appreciation Award” in 2020, 2021, 2023 at Lovely Professional University, India. She is recipient of IGEN Women’s for Green Technology “Women’s Achievers Award” on International Women’s Day, 8th March-2023. She had received the best paper at IEEE ICICS-2018. She has also received funded project from SERB DST under the scheme TARE in the area of Microelectronics devices. She has edited and authored more than 35 books in different areas of Electronics and electrical engineering. She is associated for editing work with top publishers like Elsevier, CRC Taylor and Francis, Wiley-IEEE, SP Wiley, Nova Science and Apple academic press etc. She is also working as book series editor for title, “Smart Engineering Systems” CRC Press, “Engineering system design for sustainable developments” & “Decentralized Systems & Next Generation Internet” Wiley-Scrivener, and conference series editor for “Conference Proceedings Series on Intelligent systems for Engineering designs” CRC Press Taylor & Francis. She is serving as academic editor of the journals “Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering”, “International Journal of Reconfigurable Computing”, and “Active and Passive Electronic Component”, Wiley, USA. She is associated as senior member IEEE, Fellow IETE and Life member ISC and is continuously involved in different professional activities along with academic work. Her area of expertise includes microelectronics device modelling and characterization, low power VLSI circuit design, VLSI design of testing, and advanced FET design for IoT, Embedded System Design, reconfigurable architecture with FPGAs and biomedical applications etc.
