About the Author :
Tahar Lazhar Ayed is an associate professor of Entrepreneurship and Marketing analysis, a department chair of Marketing and Management and director of MBA program at Dar Al-Hekma University, School of Business and Law since 2022. Dr Ayed received his Ph.D. in Business and Marketing strategies from Tunis Al Manar University in 2009. He obtained his MBA in Marketing from the University of Quebec at Montreal, Canada in 2002. He is certified trainer and consultant. Dr Ayed is a passionate and results-oriented researcher with many years of experience in entrepreneurial education, Marketing and Business analysis. During 2000-2004, Dr Ayed worked as a marketing manager at CFH security Inc., Montreal, Canada. From 2004 to 2012, Dr Ayed served as a lecturer and assistant professor at the school of economic and commercial sciences (University of Tunis) and the school of commerce (University of Sfax). During 2017-2020 he was an Associate Researcher at the University of Paris (France) where he has given invited talks and tutorials in data analysis and methodology and co-supervised Ph.D students. Dr Ayed teaches many graduate and postgraduate courses, in business, Marketing, Entrepreneuriship, Research Methodology and Data Analysis. He has published books and scientific papers in different international peer-reviewed journals. Dr Ayed has a valuable Experience in training, consulting and supporting executives. He served as a consultant and trainer for many international institutions and companies. He is certified from Harvard Business School in Business analytics and earned his Post-Graduate Program in Data Science and Business analytics from the University of Texas, in addition to some other valuable certificates obtained from international reputable institutions. Dr Ayed earned many research rewards and prizes. He was honored by Umm Al-Qura University for his contribution to the NCAAA accreditation and teaching methods. Inass Salamah Ali is Dean of the School of Business and Law (SBL) at Dar Al-Hekma University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Her academic journey began with earning a doctorate in management from the University of Stirling in the U.K., where her research was focused on refining Customer Relationship Management. Prior to this, she obtained a Master’s degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science from Colorado Technical University, USA, following her undergraduate studies in Mathematics at the Women’s College of Education in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Joining the faculty of Dar Al-Hekma University in 2008 as an assistant professor in the Management Information Systems Program within the School of Business, Dr. Ali steadily advanced her teaching and leadership skills. In 2010, she was appointment as the Program Director for the Management Information Systems (MIS) program, marking the beginning of her contributions to the university’s academic development. She had managerial roles as director of the scientific research center and director of the quality assurance and strategic planning department in Dar Al-Hekma University. In 2014, Dr. Ali was entrusted with the role of heading the Hekma School of Business & Law, a testament to her leadership skills and commitment to excellence. In this capacity, she oversees diverse academic programs both undergraduate and graduate levels. Complementing her academic responsibilities, Dr. Ali is an active participant in international and national conferences, seminars, and workshops, where she continues to enrich her research and development. Hany H. Abdelhamied holds a Ph.D. in Hospitality and Tourism management from Bournemouth University, UK and Helwan University, Egypt. a joint supervision system. Dr. Abdelhamied is a professor of Hospitality and Tourism management, school of business and Law, Dar Alhekma University and faculty of Hotels and tourism studies, University of Sadat city, Egypt. His research interests include: Human resources in hospitality, Sustainability, Food quality, food service management, e-marketing; consumer behaviors; e-booking in hotels; entrepreneurship, and new trends in green tourism SMEs, e-commerce; blended learning adoption in high-education enterprises and structural equation modeling analysis. Prof. Abdelhamied is a certified trainer In Umm Al-Qura University. Amani Hamza , has worked with Dar Al Hekma University for the past 22 years as a distinguished educator with a Ph.D. in Management, specializing in teaching management courses and fostering leadership development. She has a wealth of experience in academia and a passion for empowering individuals. Amani has made significant contributions in teaching, coaching, and mentoring students, and others. As an experienced professor, Amani’s teaching style is highly regarded for its ability to blend theoretical concepts with practical applications, equipping students with the skills necessary to thrive in the ever-changing business landscape. One of Amani's most remarkable accomplishments is her leadership in numerous projects focused on women's empowerment, where in collaboration with Babson College, Amani played a pivotal role in developing a one-year program that culminated in the establishment of renowned and sustainable social enterprises. This initiative not only provided aspiring female entrepreneurs with the necessary resources and knowledge but also served as an inspiration for young entrepreneurs across various industries. Moreover, Amani has been actively involved in curriculum development and reviews, ensuring the relevance and quality of academic programs both nationally and internationally. Her contributions have helped shape educational offerings to align with industry demands and emerging trends, bridging the gap between academia and the business world.
