About the Book

This is a text only version of the original book, without the decorative elements. However, the content stays the same as the original work. The original version with all the decorative elements is also available for purchase separately for interested readers. Knowingly or unknowingly, each one of us is aboard a unique spiritual journey of our own, and Noah is no exception to this fact. Each poem is the crystallisation of his raw feelings, a relic frozen in the depths of time and excavated by the tool of contemplative reflection, only to be carefully preserved in the museum of words for the reader to behold. The reader is bound to be swayed away onto a journey into the infinity of their own heart-space from one cosmic destination to the other, with each sojourn more formidable than the previous. Through this soul-stirring ride, the poet wishes more than to share the vibrations with the reader - he also wants to touch the surface of the reader's mind-lake with the wand of words and let the reader witness the ripples commingling in the waters of their own mind. It all begins with 15-year old Noah the Sojourner embarking onto a sincere quest in search of God which culminates into an innocent answer, it matures further as the he grows older, as if not fully satisfied with the beautiful start and wanting to delve further, consequently leading him to unknown territories where he even gets a bit uncomfortable. Nonetheless, the thorns along the path do not seem to stop him from musing over the beauty of the occult of nature and singing a love song to the mystic aura of night, followed by a song of love that exploits and exposes the vulnerabilities of his heart when he has fallen in deep love. But this is not the end! The exhaustion of the soul's fire after years long searching for the source of permanent bliss outside of the self was not enough, that he was allured by his friend into getting high on marijuana. Providentially this happened to be his first and the last high - an inner experience so potent, that while it systematically belittled few of the past experiences by deeming them insignificant, it readily complemented the others. But even in the sheer onset of this breakthrough, the search did not seem to culminate as expected; it was never meant to. Rather new doors into transcendence opened wide, this time to possibilities infinite.
