About the Book

In an Iowa cornfield stands a bordello. When Chad Sommers learns of Bleakton Manor, he recruits his girlfriend and four best friends to investigate if the rumors about the place are true. Although they agree to accompany Chad on the adventure, they are skeptical of Chad's claim that the whorehouse is haunted with the malevolent spirits of the former working girls, all horribly murdered and mutilated by the evil Madam Flora. However, once they enter the bleak halls of the manor, there's a thickness in the air. The place is cold despite the hot outdoor temperature. Strange footsteps are heard in the vacant rooms. And skepticism quickly turn to terror when a fierce storm develops and knocks out the power, trapping the group within the house. Suddenly, what was supposed to be an adventure turns into a fight against the forces of Madam Flora and the manor over which she ruled.
