About the Book

David Moody, a Christian of over 70 years, cannot remember when he first began believing in Jesus Christ. His first memory of belief was at the age of five praying over his extremely sick father. Dave grew up attending church regularly. Although not always living a life of perfection, Dave grew in his faith and knowledge of God. Thinking he was destined to be a pastor, he made two attempts attending Simpson Bible College and Nyack Theological Seminary that did not work out. Dave attended Southem Oregon University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in business with an accounting emphasis. He did post-graduation study in computer Information systems. His 35 years working in the accounting field exposed him to farming, construction, city government, high tech industry, health care, commodity investing, rental properties, and the retail industry. Dave always took Jesus with him to work and shared the gospel to the lost. He served on church boards and Christian organizations as treasurer, deacon, elder, Sunday school teacher, and building administrator. Missionary efforts took him to Taiwan, China, Philippine Islands, Honduras, Vanuatu, and Germany. He enjoyed Biblical educational trips to Israel, Greece, Turkey, and Italy which contributed to his exposure and knowledge of the Bible and Middle East politics. Dave has mentored Christian men and one friendship matured into a ministry in Vanuatu that resulted in thousands of new souls believing in Jesus. These accomplishments Dave achieved despite a 62-year-old painful injury that resulted in multiple surgeries and a disability throughout his life. All of these physical challenges was accompanied with total hearing loss later on in life. Dave's purpose in the book is to glorify his God, encourage the downtrodden to continue and to never yield to failure. Never give up!
