About the Book

Andrew, Mairy, and Vera - are now all secretly known as members in the Light Guild of the Shadow-Forge. It is a calling that few can realize and even fewer take part in. These are the special few who have been recruited to wage the hidden battles within the unseen realm of astral plane, which shape the fate of the very universal forces for our existence. Andrew Bauer [protagonist], 20 years old, gets into an unusual relationship with Mairy [the headstrong teenage alien], a girl of like age, who is actually not the girl he is dating. Andrew's adventures continue with the addition of his newly reincarnated girlfriend: Vera [the troubled teenage orphan] who is really Mairy by virtue of her consciousness and Mairy who is also actually Fairy by virtue of her origin. Fairy, depending on with which view of her origin one identifies, is a member of the 'collective' wherein her being of energy began; and coincidentally where this books series started - 'Quest of the Shadow-Forge'. Mairy is the alias of Fairy wherein she transitioned to Earth in the Shadow-Forge form of a human, in the second book of this series - 'Shadow-Forge Revelations'. By the end of the second book in this series, Vera consents to save Mairy through the exchange their consciousnesses in order to keep Mairy in this reality. So essentially Vera visage is now the containment vessel for Mairy's consciousness. In this third book, an unfortunate accident disconnects Mairy's consciousness from Vera's brain, leaving Vera to be comatose. Andrew, who is heartbroken, sacrifices all for the love of his life, Mairy, by using his Shadow-Forge astral projection state to dive into Vera's subconscious to retrieve Mairy. In an adventure equal in kind to 'The Fantastic Voyage', he inadvertently loses Mairy to the astral realm, but Vera recovers from her comatose condition, seemingly on her own. Lost and forlorn, Andrew follows Vera up to the lunar research station to see if he can somehow reconnect with Mairy through Vera. In the course of his new work to map out celestial fields and objects within the universe via the IGIE [Interferometric Gravitational Influx Emanator] system, which was developed on the lunar station, he and his team eventually approach the Great Attractor. While working within their holographic avatars, they inadvertently discover that the anomalous event causes a rift in the universal timeline. Andrew pursues this anomalous behavior in his Shadow-Forge form wherein he devises a plan to retrieve Mairy from within the astral realm. However in doing so, his Shadow-Forge astral projection powers used within the Great Attractor cause temporal shifts real time as the two realms collide: the astral verse and our universe. And so the third quest to save the universe begins.

About the Author :
I have self-published four books, two in the genre of science fiction and two in the genre of speculative science nonfiction. The nonfiction books are listed in a compendium style dissertation, 'The Evolutioning of Creation: Volumes 1 and 2', and help to support the science fiction aspect of my story telling. I am now retired, and enjoy building upon the characters in my two science fiction adventure stories, 'Quest of the Shadow-Forge' and 'Shadow-Forge Revelations'. My background does include physics and general theoretical knowledge for which I continue to share with others on science websites. I do have links to video book promotions for the first two books in this series: https: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeIEqaOMqQc&t=316shttps: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=umx7yGrfSikhttps: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbPMDfZtaCYYou may have to provide these website addresses directly into the browser as these links do not automatically work.
