Annihilationism Debunked: An Introduction

In defense of the biblical doctrine of Hell, Annihilationism Debunked explains how the annihilationist view undermines God's character, distorts His purpose of election, diminishes the eternal value and efficacy of Christ's saving work, and involves significant misinterpretation of the Bible. And Revelation 20:10, of the devil's punishment, establishes the nature and duration of the punishment of wicked humans elsewhere in Revelation: "tormented day and night for ever and ever." The believer will read the book with awe at the holiness of God expressed in the reality of hell; with an awakened awareness of the awfulness of hell, and, therefore, of the guilt of his or her sinfulness and sin; and with lively gratitude to Jesus Christ for suffering the infinite, eternal torment of hell in his or her stead.
