About the Book

In this sequel to The Tropical Fox, follow the lives and adventures of Rob Fox, Danny Masters and Kate Watson as Rob and Danny exit Singapore in the dead of night aboard a Merchant Navy ship to arrive in Fremantle, Western Australia. For American Rob, this is a foreign land, for Australian Danny this is home. Their aim is to build a new post war life here, looking to become involved in the business of cattle farming in the tropical north west of the state of Western Australia. Once Rob feels he has plans in place, he is seeking to bring his fiancé Kate out to Fremantle from London, where she was sent to through the hectic events that occurred in Singapore. Through their efforts to find a pathway north to achieve their goals, they find themselves caught up with criminal elements who seek to take advantage of their enthusiasm and use them to obtain the what they want and fleece Rob and Danny of their funds in the process. The only real saving grace that Rob and Danny have, is Colonel Chris Adams, a powerful and connected man who offers them guidance and assistance as part of an old school tie network as requested from old colleagues at Cambridge. These two men being Kate's uncle in England, M.P Michael Watson and Major General Alex Stuart, Commanding Officer of British Forces in Singapore. It was the assistance provided to Stuart by playing intricate and personal roles in a plan to eradicate key criminal elements in Singapore, that resulted in the request for Adams to assist Rob and Danny as much as possible. Follow their adventures in Western Australia, from Fremantle through north to Broome in the tropical north, as Rob and Danny's lives play out through a maze of twists and turns.
