About the Author :
Veronica Brown is a retired flight attendant with nearly three decades of experience flying for three major airlines across the United States. As a trailblazing African-American woman in aviation, she built her career during an era marked by deep challenges, cultural barriers, and constant transformation within the airline industry. Veronica has traveled extensively across Europe, Asia, Israel, and parts of Africa through both commercial aviation and USO/DOD entertainment tours. She is also an accomplished recording artist, a recipient of the Key to the City of Detroit, and an honoree of the Detroit City Council. Today, she is the CEO and founder of Flight Ready Academy, where she mentors the next generation of flight attendants-especially aspiring Black and Brown professionals.
