About the Book

From the smoky clubs of 1968 London to the sunbaked sands of ancient Egypt, "The Twins of Time" is a groundbreaking debut that fuses hard science, hidden history, and epic science fiction into one unforgettable cosmic symphony. Robet A. DeNardi, retired aerospace manufacturing specialist, weaves a tale that finally answers the age-old questions every curious mind has asked about the pyramids, the Sphinx, and humanity's place in the stars.
The story opens with Annie, a prodigious opera singer turned psychedelic rock star, whose voice carries an otherworldly light. Chosen by the elders-eternal beings of pure harmonic vibration-she is elevated beyond time and gifted twin children, Lira and Kael. Raised in a crystalline realm of starlight and song, the twins inherit a pulsing harmonic crystal that grants them mastery over time itself. Their sacred duty: to guard their mother's song and stand against the Vrynn, the rebel elders of chaos who once nearly destroyed Earth and now return to finish what they started. Guided by the wise elder Cymer, Lira and Kael are sent to Ancient Egypt at the dawn of human civilization. There, the Vyrnn-led by the ruthless Zykar-pose as gods and dazzle the Egyptians with sonic cutters, levitation orbs, and vibration amplifiers, accelerating the construction of the Great Pyramids while secretly carving a vast, neon-lit underground city beneath the sands. Their gold: corrupt the harmonic song that sustains life and crown themselves as rulers of a new realm of discord.
Meanwhile, High Priest Khemsae, architect of the Temple of Ra, and his daughters, Cleopatra and Siri, grapple with their own fracture. Cleopatra, the scholarly heir, is destined for the throne, and Siri, the fierce warrior, is consumed by jealousy and is ultimately banished. As the Vrynn's influence poisons the land, the royal family's rift threatens to tear Egypt apart. Hidden among the dunes, Lira and Kael discover something the Vyrnn cannot sense: a buried Elder city beneath the Sphinx, older than the pharaohs and pulsing with the original song that once drowned the Vyrnn's chaos. With only their crystals and their wits, the twins must navigate palace intrigue, ancient technology, and the very forces that shaped human history before the Vyrnn's power crystal awakens and silence falls across the universe forever.
"The Twins of Time" is more than a time-travel adventure. It's a meticulously engineered love letter to the mysteries of our past, written by a man who spent decades inside classified aerospace and military programs. Precision meets poetry in a saga that asks: what if the greatest monuments on Earth were never built by human hands alone?
With only their crystal and their wits, the twins must navigate palace intrigue, ancient technology, and the very forces that shaped human history, before the Vrynn's power crystal awakens and silence falls across the universe forever.

About the Author :

Robert A. DeNardi is a debut novelist whose lifelong love of mathematics, engineering, and problem-solving has finally found its voice in fiction. A manufacturing specialist and a subset of mechanical engineering, DeNardi landed his dream job in the aerospace manufacturing industry. Over the decades that followed, his work carried him into some of the most advanced and secretive corners of American innovation at several classified locations. He has signed numerous non-disclosure agreements and has honored every one of them in the writing of this book; nothing classified appears on these pages. Instead, he has drawn on the spirit of those experiences: the discipline of precision engineering, the thrill of cutting-edge technology, and the quiet satisfaction of solving problems that once seemed impossible.
A self-described "math guy" who never wrote a novel before, DeNardi approached storytelling the same way he approached complex manufacturing challenges, by asking "What if?" and then methodically building a world that feels both plausible and wondrous. "The Twins of Time" is the result, a science-fiction saga that braids real threads of ancient history-the pyramids, the Sphinx, the unexplained engineering feats of early civilization-with a cosmic twist. Using the same analytical mindset that once helped build weapons and spacecraft, DeNardi constructs a narrative in which time-traveling, ancient Elders, and shadowy Vrynn forces collide across millennia. The novel is his way of tying up loose ends in world history while asking bigger questions about harmony, chaos, and humanity's place in the universe.
When he's not writing or revisiting old engineering notebooks, DeNardi enjoys quiet reflection on the desert skies that surround the classified sites where he worked. He still believes the best solutions are the ones that blend rigorous logic with a spark of imagination, exactly what he hopes readers will discover between the covers of "The Twins of Time."
