About the Book

This Study Guide is more than a simple Q&A about the book, The Three Daily Disciplines: A Leadership Carol. It is an opportunity-through self-examination, intentionality, and action-to become a better person and a more influential leader by practicing the Three Daily Disciplines of Curiosity, Humility, and Empathy.

The Study Guide is organized into six sessions, each designed with self-examination and application questions that focus on Professional Growth, Personal Growth, and Spiritual Growth. Participants can choose to work through the questions and sections most relevant to their current season of life.

The questions may be explored individually or in a small group or team setting. At the end of each session, participants select one action step to implement in order to grow as an influential leader at work and at home, following Bruce's example in The Three Daily Disciplines: A Leadership Carol.

This study invites you to journey alongside Bruce at The Old Dominion Theatre while also embarking on your own transformative path. It promises to take you deeper-and you will never be the same afterward.

Review :
The Three Daily Disciplines is one of the most engaging books on leadership I've read in the past few years. Combining immersive storytelling with clear-cut lessons on leadership, Drew M. Christian offers an absorbing guide that is bound to appeal to business leaders, executives, and managers of all kinds of organizations. Curiosity, humility, and empathy are essential qualities any good leader must possess. With an engrossing narrative, Christian shows how these three disciplines are practically applicable in day-to-day scenarios and help drive teams toward attaining the organization's goals, ensuring its long-term success...It's required reading for all business leaders.

In The Three Daily Disciplines, Dr. Drew Christian provides an engaging approach that reinforces effective servant leadership practice. Grounded in a call for humility and curiosity in leadership, Drew illustrates the importance of leadership focused on the good of followers and the accomplishment of team goals. Take a moment to explore this unique and enjoyable encouragement for leaders.
Justin A. Irving, Ph.D., Author of Healthy Leadership for Thriving Organizations: Creating Contexts Where People Flourish

Bruce, our protagonist in A Leadership Carol, closely mirrors Scrooge's path to redemption, but through a journey faced with modern leadership challenges. Through this story we grasp the message that true leadership influence happens by being genuinely curious about others, having humble self-reflection, and demonstrating empathetic connection with those we lead. I've been inspired to examine my own leadership approach and to practice these three essential daily disciplines. Drew's concise book can be placed on your bookshelf right next to A Christmas Carol, with both books inspiring us to personal transformation.
