About the Book

God may seem random at times, but He is always intentional. Discover how to find purpose in the process and what God has planned for you. As women we believe it's our God given right to have children. But what happens when you can't conceive? It becomes too painful to share the struggle with family or friends. We're left feeling isolated, alone and helpless. We feel like we've failed so we suffer in silence. For years I lived with the secret pain of infertility. I questioned my faith; I was shattered by unmet expectations I placed on myself and most of all God. I didn't feel I could trust Him with my hopes and dreams. When would it be my turn? I was heartbroken and couldn't see my purpose beyond pregnancy. But my story doesn't end there. I'll take you through my journey, as I discovered how to find purpose in the process and what God had planned for me. I'm vulnerable about how I questioned God and how He showed up in ways I could never have imagined. We need to believe that God can, but will He? We serve a God who sees us. He wants us to seek His will and persevere through suffering. I had to fully surrender my plans to become pregnant, and trust God to fulfill this new idea of adoption. Adoption is hard. It takes you into deep uncharted waters. There were moments where I faced chaos with confidence knowing God was committed to me. Other times I faced pain with peace, knowing it was part of God's plan. Throughout my journey God seemed random at times, but He was always purposeful and intentional. If we learn a new rhythm of trust, we will discover that God is not random. At the end of each chapter, there is an opportunity to pause and consider probing questions; a challenge to make personal all that God has made possible. Risk the journey as we seek to learn the answers to these questions and many more.
