L'Enfer c'est ça: la répétition. Le ressassement. Le toujours identique. Creuser toujours de plus en plus profond les gouffres. Mettre de plus en plus de sel sur les plaies vives. Le supplice ne s'arrête jamais. Et les déesses et les dieux et le destin rient à gorge déployée, à grosses baffes sur leurs cuisses fraîches. Les êtres humains sont un spectacle certes monotone, mais si grotesque, si drôle. Et ça ne s'arrête jamais. Ça vit, ça meurt. Ça crève de peur. Tas de poussière, tas de rancoeur. Ça geint, ça hurle, ça gémit. Mais toi, non. Tu ne gémis pas. Tu ne te plains pas. Tu es un bloc de lave en fusion. Colère noire. Rouge fureur. D'abord contre toi-même. Contre les autres aussi: maris, amant, fils, filles. Contre les hommes, tous, sans exception: chefs de bandes, bandits de grands chemins, héros, guerriers, rois, prêtres, devins. Et contre les divinités, mâles ou femelles ou hermaphrodites, contre leurs oracles, leurs miracles, vrais ou faux. Depuis une éternité d'éternités, tu marches, ombre de chair ressuscitée, dans ton enfer éternel. Tu finis toujours par trouver une porte fermée. Et toujours, devant cette porte, le maître de cérémonie t'attend. Et toujours il pointe son épée vers toi, t'effleure parfois. Mais tu n'as jamais peur. Jamais. De quoi aurais-tu peur ? Tout a été définitivement accompli. Plus rien ne peut se passer. Le maître de cérémonie ne peut pas te blesser, encore moins te tuer. Tu es morte. Tu ne peux pas l'être plus. Nul ne peut tuer un fantôme, une ombre au pays des ombres. Morte, tu es immortelle. Éternelle. Et tu marches et tu erres, éternelle, immortelle. Les déesses et les dieux l'ont décidé ainsi. Le destin l'a voulu. Même les déesses, même les dieux obéissent au destin. Tu dois te souvenir éternellement. Tu dois vivre et revivre, voir et revoir éternellement. Tu dois parcourir les arcanes de l'enfer infini éternellement. Loin de toi, près de toi, Sisyphe roule éternellement son rocher, Ixion roule éternellement sa roue enflammée. Et toi, tu dois éternellement rouler dans ton coeur, dans ton âme, dans ta chair le rocher de tes souvenirs, la roue enflammée de tes tourments. Les déesses, les dieux, le destin ne se demandent pas si vous êtes heureux dans votre enfer éternel, infini, toi Sisyphe, toi Ixion, et toi qui erres et marches et vis et revis et vois et revois et te souviens éternellement.
