About the Book

In Jimmy Prophet, Book 3, we learn that Simon never knew his father Jimmy, who disappeared before he was born. And his mother's mythological accounts of him are too fantastic to believe. Did he really discover the Grand Unifying Theorem? And did he really find a secret underground chamber, where he was transformed from a backwoods hillbilly into a genius? Whether his mother's bizarre stories are a fictional coping mechanism or not, there are certain facts that Simon cannot deny. He is an astounding prodigy, and his strange sleeping disorder is unprecedented; he doesn't sleep... at all. While in college, at age ten, Simon founded a paranormal club. In this club, they researched and experimented with creating an artificial entity from Tibetan Mysticism, known as a tulpa. They abandoned this experiment due to lack of progress, and Simon's refusal to have anything to do with divination. However, after Simon's tragic mishap that left him a quadriplegic with locked-in syndrome, intense, prolonged meditation without sleeping, was about the only thing he had left in his life that he could still do. After two years of intensely imagining his late wife standing at the foot of his bed, he began to see her as a real-life person in the mornings. At first, he thinks it is his imagination, but then one of his nurses sees it too. Rebecca isn't just any nurse. Rebecca is Simon's sister-in-law, whom he only met once, when he was ten years old. His late wife introduced him to her, hoping he would be a good influence on her, but she insulted him with callous remarks, and he never saw her since. While Simon's wife Rachael was the golden child, Rebecca was the misfit, always getting into trouble, and struggling with heroine addiction. After college, she led a double-life as an RN struggling with addiction, until her sister's untimely death. It was then that she sought Simon out, to be a resident nurse at his hospital. Rebecca's wake-up call with losing her sister, brought her to the altar, where she turned or life over to God. But seeing the image of her deceased sister, then shortly after this, hearing Simon's voice in her head, shakes her new-found faith to the core. Are Simon's abilities a form or sorcery, or are they miraculous God-given abilities? This issue becomes an intense topic of debate, as they form their relationship, curtesy of telepathy. A chain-reaction of events stem from Simon's astral projecting, which lead to his miraculous recovery, where this book begins. Back on his feet, Simon resumes his employment with Eaglestar Enterprise. Government spooks were already keeping a watchful eye on him and his mother, but now Eaglestar is aware that Simon has abilities they can put to good use. In fact, they already have a team dedicated to astral espionage. These things are fascinating to Simon, but more than anything else, he wants to find his mother. As it turns out, she left behind a handful of obscure clues, which only he can decipher, and they lead him back to his Arkansas roots. Along the way, he encounters new friends, starting with his former sister-in-law. While Simon's paranormal proclivities are enough to keep Rebecca on edge, they aren't enough to quell the transcendent tsunami of love budding between them, initially emerging from psionic blasts of intense passion transmitted from Simon's heart. He can't help but love her, and she has no defense against this purest level of intimate communication. Simon also cultivates friends stemming from his EL-7 Team connections and work, and he enlists them in his quest to find his parents, whether they be dead or alive, in this dimension or beyond. Along the way, he discovers that this mission is much more important than finding his parents. The stones of fire, as referenced in the Bible, contained in the actuation chamber, guarded by Simon's parents, are an incomprehensible threat to the entire multi-dimensio
