Review :
"A relentless, heart-pounding plunge through the Nine Realms. This is Norse fantasy done right."
- Ramy Vance, author of The Afterlife Academy series
A book that puts the "epic" in "epic fantasy." - J.D. Ruffin
This book really puts the epic in Norse Mythology and that's saying something! Everything about it is big. The descriptions of the Helheim and its denizens are a perfect mix of the strange, dark, and the often unusually jovial concoction that is Norse lore. The tales of Sigurd and Sinfjotli before they "died" in Midgard are brutal, filled with betrayal, carnage, and battles of vengeance. But these trials set them up to overcome the huge obstacles they must face to reclaim their souls.
And, before you chalk this book up as nothing more than hack 'n' slash brawling, the story is surprisingly introspective. Both brothers must face their demons and the mistakes they made in their past. Over the course of the book, these two not only have to learn to trust each other, but also realize that they may not have always been the good guys in their own story. -Dark Horse
This was a great introduction for me to the Norse mythology. The book was dark and foreboding and made me want to keep reading, I just wish I didn't have to put it down and I'm looking forward to the next one in line - Ian Worrall, Author of No Remorse No Regret
An absolute MUST-READ for fans of epic fantasy and Norse mythology! This thrilling tale follows Sigurd and Sinfjotli, legendary warriors of the Volsung bloodline, fighting for redemption in the depths of the underworld. The story seamlessly weaves gods, valkyries, and dark forces into a gripping, high-stakes adventure with breathtaking world-building, intense battles, and unexpected twists. Beyond the action, it masterfully explores the fine line between heroism and villainy, making you question fate and legacy. If you crave an epic journey of honor, sacrifice, and second chances, this book will leave you spellbound! - Etienne Herve Djoto
