Good confronts evil several times over in this epic battle to save or sacrifice the world, set to the backdrop of a love story for the ages.
I, Warlock is the first of two books in the Warlock Wars duology, and a spectacular introduction to a cast of characters the reader will come to know, love, and in some cases loathe. It's a page-turner guaranteed to keep readers up well past the witching hour.

"I, Warlock" is a great read. I'm a practicing witch myself and it's nice to see a more realistic depiction of magick, rather than flashy fireworks and things materializing out of thin air. One pet peeves that I ran into though was the author referring to witch's sabbats as "sabbaths". Still, overall, the author did a good job with the subject matter. McNease has a wonderful writing style that makes for a page-turning read that has me already excited to see what happens next in the series. The book setups for the future parts of this tale, and his attention to the intricacies of these characters leaves you wanting more. I can't wait to see what comes next.
