About the Book

Detective Liam Niles The Last Crusade Chapter One: The Jousting Novice. I wrote The Jousting Novice for two reasons. One, I thought it would be fun to start off the second book sequel by writing my own story similar to the popular 2001 movie, 'A Knight's Tale', but in my own telling. I want to give credit to the great Brian Helgeland, for giving me the inspiration. The story of Squire Tremen Niles, son of Trey Niles, is challenged by Marquess Reban Macron, to a game of Joust for the hand in marriage of Saren Nollen, a promised maiden to be married to Reban, but yet, is with child from Tremen's secret rendezvous. In his quest to win Saren, he undergoes sequential skills. Fun fact: In the movie "A Knight's Tale," the lances themselves were specially designed for safety and visual effect. The lances were hollow and filled with uncooked spaghetti noodles to mimic broken splinters. They were intended to break safely upon impact. Now this is what storytelling is made of. Chapter Two: The Penanced Priest. Breyen Nile's sister, Brandy McKenzie is introduced into the series as a maid working for Monsignor Venold, a Priest of his own prestigious monastary, to help her father, Pastor Roger McKenzie, to pay off threat of his slow declining church of defecting parishioners disbanding the church. But the pios Priest with his devout mission of high status to gain wealthy funds through his church flock by funneling extorted funds from deceptive arterial motive in the act of bribery with his colleague, Pastor Roger's daughter Brandy. Pastor Roger, in his act of defiance against the priest, his daughter becomes missing as precious collarteral. But when Squire Devon Niles is out on duty, the real test of chivalry commences. Chapter Three: The Knight In The Fortress. In an unforeseen event, Detective Liam Niles and his younger brother, Detective Trey Niles, under go a hard fact of hard to solve clue, when a long lost kin tracing origin of an unsolved mystery leading back to Chivalry Chapel, becomes deadlocked with unresolved intrusions from their past. They must face the hard facts of life's clues between morals of right verses wrong. Whereas, in their own deductions of their conclusion will be decided in the midst of crosswords, just as Pastor Connor's faith intercedes the true meaning of valor. Chapter Four: The Last Crusade. The last chapter and the end of the Detective Liam Niles Series. In the continuation of 'The Knight In The Fortress', hendges upon the destiny of Chivalry Chapel. The mystery has finally been solved to the hard clues of long lost questions. But, the unexpected coming threat of the obscured adversary commith seeking ownership of Chivary Chapel. Meanwhile, Bren Drake, Pastor Connor Drake's wife, upon her saintly vision of their daughter, Lady Tuana Drake Niles, in pending as Pastor Connor Drake's insightful godly wisdom reensures the reason behind the continued preservance of Chivalry Chapel for generations to come, and in the immortalized representation of Sir Knight John Drake of the 16th century, to the chivalry gallantry of Sir Knight Liam Niles, alias, the medieval, Detective knight, Detective Liam Niles.
