About the Book

In this maiden edition of The Apostolic Ombudsman, our focus is on Nigerian Pastors' heretical and fraudulent interpretation of "Willful Sin" from Hebrews 10:26-27, and how they have used it as a weapon of condemnation, to intimidate, spread fear and subdue the people for maximum exploitation. We serve you putrid samples of this Pentecostal fraud with teachings from two of Nigeria's eminent pastors, Paul Enenche and W. F. Kumuyi. The coincidence of these two Nigerian renowned pastors giving the same fraudulent interpretation to such an important scripture was the catalyst that birthed The Apostolic Ombudsman. Our investigation has revealed that theirs was not a coincidence or a random occurrence; their teachings represent samples from the common templates used by all Pentecostal pastors in Nigeria. The strategy is to inject curses from the law into the Gospel and use that as a bogeyman to condemn the people, dehumanise them, frighten them, and cajole them to surrender their money, in exchange for "salvation", miracles and financial breakthroughs, or rewards in heaven. The consequences of these pastors' actions are more deadly and far-reaching than many can realise. Their corruption of the Gospel of Christ to make money for themselves has also led to the pollution of the land by deactivating the power of the Gospel to cleanse and sanctify the land. When the Gospel is corrupted, the Spirit of the Gospel that brings life goes out, and what is left is the Letter (Law), which kills (2 Corinthians 3:6). In the absence of the Spirit of the Gospel to neutralise Satan's power, the church and the land become a playground for Satan and his demons. That is why Nigeria is where it is today. If Nigeria were to collapse tomorrow, blame the Pentecostal church for it. Our scriptural analyses and interpretation of willful sin from Hebrews 10:26-29 show that the church, not the people, is guilty of willful sin. The evidence is indubitable. This First Volume of The Apostolic Ombudsman serves as an introduction to how Nigerian pastors have perfected the art of perverting the Gospel of Christ and turning the scriptures that were meant to bless the people into a tool to unleash condemnation and curses on them-all in their inordinate quest to subdue and exploit the people for tithes, offerings, seed-sowing, and other pecuniary motives. We can't tell you all here. Turn the pages and see things for yourself.
