Forest Paths is a story that invites readers to slow down and reconnect with nature - just as it truly is.
It is a continuation of the journey begun in The Forest of Power Stones, but it can also be read as a standalone book. Month by month, the story leads readers through the changing seasons, presenting the forest as a living organism, a teacher, and a space for experience.
Together with the characters - Lena, Tomek, Zosia, and Maks - we return to the forest to learn how to observe, listen, and simply be. Here, the forest does not speak in symbols. It speaks of its rhythm, its seasons, the relationships between plants and animals, the silence that heals, and the knowledge written in leaves, roots, and air.
The book combines:
reliable nature knowledge,
elements inspired by shinrin-yoku (forest bathing),
a literary narrative,
and gentle creative invitations rooted in art therapy.
At the end of the book, readers will find Forest Invitations - simple suggestions for mindful activities and creative moments. These are not instructions or tasks to be completed "correctly," but gentle prompts that can be explored whenever curiosity or need arises.
Forest Paths can be read:
at home or at school,
independently or together with a child,
as inspiration for walks, conversations, and moments of pause.
It is a book for school-aged children, as well as for adults - teachers, parents, and anyone who wishes to reconnect with nature and their own inner rhythm.
The forest does not impose a pace.
This book does not either.
All you need to do is step onto the path.
