About the Book

What Is Real?: The Return takes readers beyond death and into an awakening no one would choose.

After living with his family in a fantastical realm, Jonathan dies there only to awaken in the real world, scarred by loss: deaf and blind in one eye, facing a diagnosis of meningitis. Yet to him, this reality is the true illusion.

While Jonathan struggles to find his way back to the family he left behind, war erupts in the other realm. Mai and Kaori have ascended to a divine level, unlocking the full extent of their power as legendary dragonesses-forces of nature capable of challenging any enemy. But hidden powers have been manipulating the threads of time, seeking to transform the dragonesses into the supreme rulers of chronology itself. Fortunately, the resistance is not defenseless. A united family stands ready to rewrite the universe, if necessary, to protect what they love.

Convinced that the life he left behind is the only one that truly matters, Jonathan embarks on a desperate quest. Guided by a Haitian spiritual master, he delves into the dangerous art of astral projection, crossing the boundaries of spirit and reality in a relentless attempt to return to those he loves. Together, the family will face whatever fate places before them, driven by an unshakable belief: as long as life remains, possibilities endure.

But the true danger is not war, nor the creatures capable of destroying worlds. Ancient secrets hidden since the dawn of creation are beginning to surface, revealing that Jonathan, Agatha, Mai, and Kaori are part of a design far older than anyone could imagine. Forgotten powers awaken, old alliances crumble, and forces capable of altering reality itself threaten the balance of existence.

Amid dimensions, prophecies, and beings beyond human comprehension, one truth remains unchanged: the love that binds this family is stronger than any law, any kingdom, and any power that seeks to tear them apart. When all hope seems lost and darkness claims victory, there remains one force capable of defying destiny itself.

This is a story of identity, sacrifice, and the mystery of what we call reality. Faced with revelations that shatter the mind, Jonathan must decide whom to trust and what to ignore... because in this journey, even the truth can be a trap.

Step into an intense, emotional, and mind-bending adventure where every choice brings Jonathan closer-or farther-from answering one question:

What is truly real?
