About the Book

Once, James came from a city of green fields, shared bread, and quiet happiness - a place where no one owned more than another and no child knew hunger. Then the Army of Fire came, and turned that living world into ash.

Haunted by the destruction of everything he loved, James flees to the dazzling city of Sal, a kingdom built on rubies, wealth, and lies. Beneath its festivals and jewel-colored splendor lies a brutal truth: soldiers rule by fear, prisoners rot in darkness, and a forgotten power sleeps behind a sealed door - the Gray Ruby, a relic capable of building empires or destroying them.

As James struggles to survive in Sal's merciless ruby mines, he finds something he thought was lost forever: love. Milena, a gentle woman who carries her own scars of war, becomes his refuge from grief. But love cannot silence the vow burning inside him - the promise to avenge a murdered homeland and bring justice to a broken world.

When tyranny consumes Sal and a ruthless new ruler rises, James is forced to choose between the woman he loves and the power that could end all oppression. To claim that power, he must enter the House of the Blind, where those who seek dominion lose not only their sight... but often their souls.

About the Author :
From a young age, I dreamt of becoming a writer, a vision sparked not by-passing fantasy, but by a profound and lasting connection to words and the worlds they build. As a child, storytelling was more than play; it was purpose. That enduring passion became a driving force, shaping my identity and serving as the sacred lens through which I understand life. Today, I strive to be a thoughtful and incisive writer whose work draws from the depths of psychological inquiry, spiritual symbolism, and supernatural intrigue. Writing isn't simply a craft it is the heartbeat of my existence, the reason I persist, question, and create. Every page I write is a testament to the belief that stories can reveal hidden truths and awaken transformation. All I want is a chance, a chance to prove the talent I've nurtured since childhood, and to share the voice that has waited patiently to be heard.
