About the Book

Deep beneath the roots of the Great Oak lies a thriving colony where Kiko, a young and spirited ant, dreams of becoming a legendary warrior like those in his grandfather's tales. While others are content with the daily grind of foraging, Kiko longs for adventure and a chance to prove himself.

His world is shattered when the ruthless General Valtor and his feared "Red Legion" launch a brutal invasion, enslaving Kiko's people and seizing their home. Forced into exile, Kiko refuses to give up. Alongside Luna, a resourceful scout, and Zico, a loyal but clumsy brawler, he sets out on a perilous journey.

Together, they venture across the "Great Wilds"-a vast and dangerous world filled with rushing rivers, shadowy caves, and unseen threats-to seek help from the fabled colonies of the North. But the journey reveals a far greater danger than they imagined.

As they uncover Valtor's true plan-to wield a forbidden power capable of dominating every insect in the forest-their mission becomes more urgent than ever. Their only hope lies in a mythic ancient artifact, guarded by a creature of legend.

In the face of overwhelming odds, Kiko must learn that true bravery is not measured by strength alone, but by the size of one's heart and the power of unity.

About the Author :
I am an Indonesian writer, programmer, and musician, writing under the name R. A. Collins-"R. A." derived from my real name, Ridwan Akbar, and "Collins" inspired by the last name of a well-known Indonesian artist. I have always believed that storytelling is more than an act of imagination-it is an exploration of understanding. While many writers pursue the beauty of language, I find myself drawn to the complexity behind the worlds I create. The greatest challenge I face is not in crafting poetic prose, but in accurately capturing the technical depth of professions and disciplines beyond my own expertise. Each unfamiliar detail demands research, patience, and a willingness to learn-transforming every story into a process of discovery. My background in programming and music shapes the way I approach narrative. From programming, I inherit structure and logic; from music, I embrace rhythm and emotional resonance. Writing, for me, becomes the meeting point of these worlds-where precision and feeling coexist on the page. I write with the intention of creating stories that do more than entertain. I want my readers to be drawn into experiences that spark curiosity, encourage reflection, and quietly expand their perspective. If a reader finishes my work not only moved, but also inspired to learn something new, then the story has fulfilled its purpose. Because in the end, I believe that the most memorable stories are not those that simply tell us something-but those that leave us thinking long after the final page is turned.
