About the Book

Three years after the tragic death of her husband, Ruby Rutledge is done living in grief's shadow. Determined to reclaim her spark - and her curves- she heads to the wilds of Costa Rica to fulfill a dream they once shared: finding the legendary jungle mud rumored to rejuvenate the skin and stir the senses. Her search leads her to the edge of civilization, where reclusive botanist Dr. Alexander Symmington hides away in a research outpost deep in the mangrove forest. She expects an aging, eccentric scientist. What she finds instead is a ruggedly handsome man with a sharp tongue, a wounded soul, and eyes that promise danger - and desire. From the moment their hands touch, the air between them sizzles. Once accidental fall, one unexpected kiss, and everything Ruby thought she'd buried comes rushing back to life. Alexander isn't looking for complications, but Ruby's fiery spirit and undeniable allure awaken something primal in him. In a place where the jungle hums with life and secrets, their passion burns hot enough to melt away the past. But live this wild always comes with a price. Can Ruby surrender to the heat of a new beginning? Or will fear and loss steal her chance to live - and love - again?

About the Author :
At eighty I remember being a kid telling stories to my friends as we sat on the porch in Long Beach, California. I would even do it with a British accent which I am sure sound like I was talking through my arse. By twenty five I started to become a world traveler. My parents were dead and my brother was estranged. What's the old adage The world is my oyster. That is when I really started to taste the world and all of it's exotic fruits. I married at 29 to my beautiful man who still graces my life today. We had no children but we have traveled and lived in different places. All this adds up a life well lived. I started dabbling in writing when I turned fifty. At sixty I had breast cancer and lost my breast. It wasn't the cancer but the medication they gave me to prevent recurrence of the cancer that made me almost lose my mind and or my life. I went to Africa to find myself and indeed I did. On a trip into Okavango Delta I fell in lust with a bush pilot. He was unaware that he had awaken things that had been long dead. He became my muse and I wrote my first novel in six weeks. Many rewrite took time. Of course from that experience I fell in love with my husband all over again. Some one once said that you can't write unless you have experience. Well now I have plenty of experience and at this age I am still writing away. I hope you will find my adventurous Romance novels educationally fun and give you that tingly feelings in all the right parts. Enjoy the books and remember some is true and some is a lie but all is meant to inform and to put a smile on your face.
