As lady's maid to the plantation owner's daughter, she moves about unnoticed regarded as little more than a piece of furniture. Acting as a spy for the Union, Kitui transmits information about the Confederacy's plans gathered from overheard conversations and confidential documents. Her most dangerous mission is locating the dismantled lighthouse hidden by the Confederacy to hamper Union naval operation. This story is filled with action, romance, heart stopping chases and even a battle at sea. The ending is filled with unexpected events and inspiring moments. You won't be disappointed.
