About the Book

Going Extra Curricular Hello! And please be reminded this study is not what we are supposed to do but extra curricular aimed at self improvement and theological seminary findings of past things in the way. It is to say, the saints of old did keep other things that we do not and this is how they kept them. So, in reiteration; this is extra curricular! The extra curricular study of dues ethic talks about the desolate or dysfunctional or concluded part of the dues. Usually when one talks about the part of tithe that is no longer functional; they talk about the Levitical priesthood and the tithe. It is not the pastoral tithe that is no longer functional; it is the third year for the poor and the widow and the annual pilgrimage tithe. The pastoral tithe stands because the Levitical priesthood was not just concluded but replaced by the system of a new priesthood or set of pastors; meaning there are still men and women dedicated at fully serving God from the altar. A thing that means there is still a need to supplement their efforts with a hire from the congregation of God. There was not an abolishing or finishing of the priesthood in heaven which the pastoral and priesthood on earth is under. Rather the title of the Highpriest in heaven was translated to the new pastors on earth being a new priesthood according to the gifting of the Son. Melchisedek's priesthood moved for the Jesus Christ's priesthood. Meaning who was priest over the Levites had to come down and die so that He may transfer the priesthood to all humanity from the house of Aaron. Hebrews 5:1-14 KJV For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins: Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity. And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins. And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron. So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Extra studies like this one are often termed the meat of the theologian but at times it is important to indulge to know how things did transverse and reshape themselves on to a new faith; Christianity. As most cross roads are not to be missed and are returned to even what went athwart in principle and order has optimal meaning when well articulated and understood. It becomes a guide to the favor grace has earned us under the current dispensation in comparison to those who did walk the walk of faith before us.
