About the Book
From the desperation of golden crowns...
Casteel Da'Neer knows all too well that very few are as cunning or vicious as the Blood Queen, but no one, not even him, could've prepared for the staggering revelations. The magnitude of what the Blood Queen has done is almost unthinkable.
And born of mortal flesh...
Nothing will stop Poppy from freeing her King and destroying everything the Blood Crown stands for. With the strength of the Primal of Life's guards behind her, and the support of the wolven, Poppy must convince the Atlantian generals to make war her way--because there can be no retreat this time. Not if she has any hope of building a future where both kingdoms can reside in peace.
A great primal power rises...
Together, Poppy and Casteel must embrace traditions old and new to safeguard those they hold dear--to protect those who cannot defend themselves. But war is only the beginning. Ancient primal powers have already stirred, revealing the horror of what began eons ago. To end what the Blood Queen has begun, Poppy might have to become what she has been prophesied to be--what she fears the most.
As the Harbinger of Death and Destruction.

About the Author :
#1 New York Times and internationally bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout lives in Charles Town, West Virginia. All the rumors you've heard about her state aren't true. When she's not hard at work writing, she spends her time reading, working out, watching really bad zombie movies, pretending to write, and hanging out with her husband and her Border Jack, Apollo. Her dreams of becoming an author started in algebra class, where she spent most of her time writing short stories ... which explains her dismal grades in math. Jennifer writes young adult paranormal, science fiction, fantasy, and contemporary romance. She also writes adult and new adult romance under the name J. Lynn. Jennifer loves hearing from readers. Follow her on Twitter, @JLArmentrout, look for her on Facebook and Goodreads, or visit her blog at JenniferArmentrout.com.
Torian Brackett is a theatre-trained, New York-based voiceover actor who has lent his talents to audiobooks, video games, and audio dramas. RJ Bayley's professional talking career began with presenting his chat show on Edinburgh radio. Soon his charming, distinctive British voice was on stations across BBC, TalkSport, and Smooth networks. Unleashing his passion for stories, RJ transitioned to being a full-time audiobook narrator in 2016. Having studied screenwriting to masters level and as an on-air arts critic for the BBC, his theoretical knowledge combined with his natural vocal dexterity allows him to do justice to both text and subtext. He swears he's not trying to sabotage his own career by deafening himself with heavy metal while walking his dog.
Deepa Samuel is a voice artist and audiobook narrator.
Khaya Fraites is a New York-based voice actor. She has narrated over 50 books and has been featured in Business Insider, Empire Magazine, and NBC's Today in the Bay for her voice work. She has received an Earphones Award and has been nominated for a One Voice Award. Some Macmillan titles she's lent her voice to include Where Shadows Meet by Patrcie Caldwell and The Summer I Ate the Rich by Maika & Maritza Moulite. She is inspired by stories about women across all genres and loves the opportunity to help tell these stories with her voice work.
Jon Vertullo is a voice-over and on-camera talent who has been performing on mic, stage, and screen since the age of ten. Jon's voice has been described as "friendly, trustworthy, and engaging, with a sprinkling of nerdy fun!" When he isn't performing, Jon enjoys spending time with his family and finding new and exciting restaurants to try. With over eighty titles to his name, Stewart Crank has developed a reputation as a solid and reliable voice-over artist, consistently delivering quality audio to his clients. Originally from Lancashire in the North of England, his burgeoning audiobook career has seen him tackle a wide array of genres, from historical fantasy to noir and true crime and most recently a version of Ulysses by James Joyce, widely regarded as the most difficult English language book to read in the world. When not recording, Stewart spends his time rock climbing or slowly making his way through his ever-expanding list of unwatched classic films.
