About the Author :
Shawn Howell is a nationally respected consultant, strategist, and trainer with nearly 30 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations turn insight into impact. As the founder of SA Howell, LLC, he has partnered with dozens of Community Action Agencies and nonprofits across the country, guiding leaders through the complexities of strategic planning, performance management, and cultural transformation.Before launching his consulting firm in 2017, Shawn spent nearly two decades working within the Community Action Network-a nationwide movement dedicated to alleviating poverty and improving opportunities for low-income families. His system-wide experience, gained through roles in both Tennessee and Georgia, informs his hands-on approach with leadership teams.In addition to his consulting work, Shawn is an experienced socioeconomic researcher and an accomplished videographer, with creative credits featured on Delta in-flight entertainment and the ESPN SEC Network. His expertise extends across multiple disciplines, including professional certifications in ROMA (Master Trainer), Six Sigma (Black Belt), AI Prompt Engineering, Data-Driven Decision-Making, Forensic Accounting, and Organizational Analytics.A former Head Start student and the son of a Head Start teacher, Shawn brings both personal passion and professional depth to every engagement. He lives in metro Atlanta with his wife Angela, a Registered Nurse and consultant, and they are proud parents of three sons.
