Do science and faith stand at odds, or do they tell the same story?
In Creation, Life, and Purpose, Mike Bills presents a deeply personal and thought-provoking journey that bridges the gap between Christianity and the ever-expanding discoveries of science and history. Written as a heartfelt letter to his children, the book cuts through centuries of debate to uncover fresh, logical answers to some of life's biggest questions: How do Adam and Eve fit into the human story revealed by archaeology and genetics? Why does Genesis 2 present a different order of creation? And if God is good, why does He allow pain, suffering, and a world governed by natural laws?
Blending intimate storytelling with biblical interpretation, scientific insight, and historical research, Bills traces his path from a childhood shaped by the Wichita Mountains of Oklahoma to a lifetime spent wrestling with Scripture, reason, and the wonder of creation. Along the way, he reveals how misunderstandings of Genesis have shaped Christian thought-and how a careful reading of the Bible aligns seamlessly with both ancient history and modern science.
Rather than forcing science into Scripture or Scripture into science, Creation, Life, and Purpose offers a unified vision: a world designed with intention, a humanity invited into purpose, and a faith strengthened-not threatened-by discovery.
Perfect for readers of Christian apologetics, religious history, and books on the intersection of faith and science, this work challenges assumptions while offering clarity, hope, and a renewed understanding of God's design for the world and for each of us.
Follow the Evidence. Understand the Scriptures. Discover the Truth.
