Review :
This book is a straightforward source that will provide useful information and insight to those librarians who do not work in their libraries’ Government Documents Department, yet have to help patrons locate and use government information. . . Recommended. Written in an approachable tone, with real-life examples from the reference desk, Finding and Using U.S. Government Information is an incredibly useful guide for those who are new to government information sources, as well as those who could use a refresher course. Bethany Latham provides a comprehensive overview of the landscape in which US government information resides, as well as roadmap to specific resources that will be of help to librarians working with government information. This is a must-have for librarians in both the public and academic settings—especially those managing depository operations.
