About the Book

It's four innings into an Orioles victory, when Emma meets Mabel. Their flirty first encounter ends abruptly when Mabel's longtime boyfriend steals her away. This is the start of the sweetest of summers. One of Blue Ridge Mountain hiking, river floating, and steamy, coffee-fueled mornings. But as the summer closes, Mabel's insecurities about her same-sex attraction emerge. She heads back to college. Without Emma. Over the next four years, Emma juggles temporary loves, a big move, and new jobs, all while trying to shove down an imagined fairytale outcome with Mabel. It's harder than assumed. Despite distance, Mabel keeps finding her way back into Emma's life, forcing Emma to consider if it's some grand design bringing the two of them back together or simply a matter of unfortunate situations.

About the Author :
In 2013, Hannah Safren published her first book Dive under Write Bloody Publishing before pursuing construction sales at Polyglass, USA, where she still works today as a member of the commercial roofing team. She resides in Surf City, a small beach town on the coast of North Carolina, with her wife, their daughter, June and son, Jett. They love being outside, so that's where they spend much of their time. They hike, they kayak, they skip rocks off the dock, and they travel. Two of them drink good whiskey and none of them really sleep much thanks to the other two. In Safren's rare moments of silence, she enjoys writing at Diver Surfside Cafe, a modern coffee shop by her home that overlooks the intracoastal waterway. She dabbles in poetry, short stories, and occasionally she throws enough words together to call it a novel. Mabel and Everything After is her debut novel with Bella Books. Marie Jenkins is a trained vocalist, audio engineer, and songwriter/composer, producing music and recording audiobooks out of her home studio in Los Angeles. She loves good storytelling, whether in the form of a song or novel, and has years of experience professionally delivering both to clients as a session vocalist, a topline songwriter, and a narrator for various companies and publishers. When she's not working with audio, she is likely embroidering while trying to keep her two cats from eating the yarn.
