About the Book

For the first time in two hundred years an enemy has stepped foot on American soil and war has come to our cities. The US military is rocked back on its heels and driven into a fighting retreat as each defense line falls. The foe is unstoppable and . . . Fae. Creatures from a legendary past who have come to reclaim the Earth in the name of magic and revenge. In the hills of Pennsylvania a ragtag, devastated army prepares to make a last stand against dragon fire capable of melting an Abrams tank and wizardry that stops fifth generation fighter jets in mid-air. Inevitably it comes down to shining steel verses human will, and Sergeant Oliva Acevedo transforms from a hospital clerk to a hardened fighter. Volume Two of the best selling Fae Wars follows the fighting retreat of the US Army as the Fae establish control of a shattered America.

About the Author :
Lucas Marcum is a critical care nurse practitioner and an officer in the US Army Reserve. When he's not working, or performing his reserve duties, he can be found hiking, reading, attempting to perfect his soft pretzel recipe, and spending time with his family. J. F. Holmes is a retired Army senior noncomissioned officer, having served for twenty-two years in both the regular Army and Army National Guard. During that time, he served as everything from an artillery section leader to a member of a division level planning staff, with tours in Cuba and Iraq, as well as responding to the terrorists attacks in NYC on 9/11. From 2010 to 2014 he wrote the immensely popular military cartoon strip, Power Point Ranger, poking fun at military life in the tradition of Beetle Bailey and Willy & Joe. His books range from military sci-fi to space opera to detective to fantasy, with a lot in between. In 2017, two were finalists for the prestigious Dragon Awards. As of August 2017, Mr. Holmes has eighteen books and two novellas published. Talon Beeson is an associate professor of acting and directing at Austin Peay State University. He holds a BFA in musical theater from Shenandoah Conservatory and an MFA in acting from DePaul University. His theater work includes performances at Lexington Children's Theatre, SSMT, Psyched: A New Musical-original cast featuring Adam Pascal, Hell in a Handbag Chicago, and Roxy Regional Theatre, among others. His film and TV credits include Black Sunshine, It Was Good, and many more. His voice-over work includes Suspense! (three Peabody nominations and two SOVAS nominations) Divorce Court (Emmy nomination), Red Lobster, Johnsonville, and he has been an actor/director for many video games and TV shows, including Rebel Galaxy Outlaw, GTA V, and the upcoming animated series Bit Wars. His work in audiobooks can be heard in JF Holmes IST-1 series and the JTF13 anthology series. In addition, he was nominated for a SOVAS award for his work in the audiobook Wonder for Learning Ally. His book Starting Your Career in Voice-Overs is available everywhere.
