About the Book
The vampire hunter known only as D has been hired by a wealthy, dying man to find his daughter, who was kidnapped by the powerful vampire Lord Mayerling. Though humans speak well of Mayerling, the price on his head is too high for D to ignore and he sets out to save her before she can be turned into an undead creature of the night.
In the nightmare world of 12,090 A.D., finding Mayerling before he reaches the spaceport in the Clayborn States and gets off the planet will be hard enough, but D has more than just Mayerling to worry about. The dying man is taking no chances, and has also enlisted the Marcus family, a renegade clan of four brothers and a sister who don't care who they kill as long as they get paid. A post-apocalyptic plot, filled with chilling twists.

About the Author :
Hideyuki Kikuchi is a Japanese author famous for his horror novels. His most famous works include the Vampire Hunter D series, Darkside Blues, and Wicked City. He has been compared to both Stephen King and H. P. Lovecraft. Kikuchi was born in Choshi, Japan, on September 25, 1949. He attended Aoyama Gakuin University and was trained as a writer by famed author Kazuo Koike. His first novel, Demon City Shinjuku, was published in 1982. Kikuchi became close friends with writer and director Yoshiaki Kawajiri during his adaption of Wicked City and the two have since collaborated on Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and the OVA of Demon City Shinjuku. Yoshitaka Amano is a comic book and manga creator, artist, and cover artist known for his work on Aliens, Sandman, and Speed Racer. Holly Adams is a classically trained, award-winning actor and narrator who loves every single thing about stories and the beings that inhabit them. With her attention to tone and character integrity, Holly enjoys narrating pretty much anything, and specializes in action-adventure/fantasy, mysteries/thrillers, and the subtle comfort of self-help nonfiction. Holly's first language was Southern, after which her family moved around a lot, finally settling in rural New York. Combined with a love of languages and her professional training, these experiences gave her a range of regional Southern dialects and an excellent capacity for accent and dialect in general. When not behind a mic, Holly continues to perform on stage, in films, and with the circus, especially Red Nose. Terrence Aselford is a professional narrator, editor, and director. He has been commissioned by the Library of Congress and recently founded the Cutting Corporation, a company specializing in sound effects for science fiction series.
Torian Brackett is a theatre-trained, New York-based voiceover actor who has lent his talents to audiobooks, video games, and audio dramas. Henry W. Kramer is a resident DC-based voice actor of several years, with a BA in theater from St. Mary's Honors College. He has worked with companies such as Blunderwoman Productions, Graphic Audio, and now Tantor Audio, with parts ranging from western cowpokes, to aristocratic lordlings with parental issues, to romantic interests possessed by ancient Peloponnesian Gods of Law and Rule. A few of the books he has narrated include the Myrrosil Chronicles by Steven C. McCullough, the Soldiers of Earthrise series by Daniel Arenson, and the Caleb Books series by Ted Dekker.
